This map has a little too many linear terrain designs

Usually, landscapes/ground that are made by nature and are not man-made should look natural and not linear. So really space terrain, bridges, and those building terrains are fine with straight terrain. But i dont think it's a good idea to make the terrains in straight lines (such as those cliffs at the left of the map). I probably would "curve" up some of the terrains, but not too much.

Millenium, im not sure that the linearness is much of a problem, although on many maps it is, i just dont see anything wrong with it on this.

It really isnt a problem when it comes to game balance, but it just might look tacky or not normal, because these sort of "planet terrains" should look natural. You don't see many of earth's naturally formed landscapes/cliffs linearly formed that much do you

Your right, i hadnt seen the pic for awhile when i had posted that.
It is very straight, and i think it also looks not very good. But its gameplay that matters.

I had a 1on1 with a clanmate of me on your map. Perhaps u'd like to watch it to see it in action;)

It is possible to do the same canon trick as on korhal, flacker tried to abuse that, but i was lucky with scv slide;) After that it was not a very tense game.

I had trouble finding enough place to build my faxes, perhaps you can try to add more ground for that, other than that the map was nice.

Good game smile.gif it was the first time i see some1 playing in my map. I think i will apply this map into the contest.

ADDITION:
Added new screenshot. I retouched the esthetic of the map.. and moved the starting point a little bit to make more room. I also enlarge the middle.
