The main reason I would dislike if my entire family died is that without my mom I wouldn't have food, home, computer, etc.
But, supposing I would still have some source of atleast half-decent food, schooling, computer, and so forth, I would rather put up with the mental 'pain' of my family dieing then watching someone have his limbs torn off.
I don't mind blood, gore, discussions about fecal matter, seeing 'disgusting' things, even while I'm eating, but the
thought of the pain of having my face burnt off or my arms mashed into pulp or whatever tends to stun me.
I can't even imagine what it would be like. It's more then I can comprehend without experiencing it. But the death or loss of people isn't.
