The controllers are the only wireless thing. There's still a power cord (everything has a power cord, plus you can plug the controllers in to recharge the batteries, so obviously there's a power cord), and there's still an ethernet port. That's for connecting to the internet and Xbox Live. And the connection to your TV/VCR isn't wireless.

It's still my contention that the best console ever is the Super Nintendo. Nothing you say can alter that decision.
By the way, that controller photo looks a lot like the Nintendo GameCube controller to me. Could that possibly be an issue?

This thing is really impressive. If you watched the MTV special (or if you're going to watch it tonight - 9:30), those graphics are all IN-GAME. This console has 3, yes THREE 3.2 GHz processors.
The controllers are more like the regular Xbox ones than anything else. The main changes are the black and white buttons have moved just over the triggers and the start and back buttons are on either side of the "guide" button in the middle. There are also wired versions of the controllers - they don't all have to be wireless.

As far as I can see, only two things could make it better.
1) Wireless Ethernet so I don't have to use the one that's in my comp for my comp and the Xbox.
2) Maker Xbox Live free

Xbox live won't be free but you can have your Xbox wireless. If you have a wireless router you can buy this small adapter that receives the signal. it's what I use for Xbox live.

I'm really excited about HD support being standard. Right now the only thing that's HD hooked into our HDTV is my Xbox, but that thing isn't even using the TV to its full potential.

That thing is ugly as sin.
I prefer the dark color, along with the green logo, on the standard XBox.
And I don't really care about whether I can set it verticaly or horizontaly. In fact, I would probably prefer horizontal so there's much less chance of accidentaly knocking it over.
And as much as I knew it would happen... I'm pissed that the controllers are like the now-standard XBox controllers, except uglier.
I -liked- the Duke. It was just the right size for my fat, short hands, and it shouldn't be any problem for anyone with long fingers...

The pictures of Perfect Dark Zero look awful. Joanna looks like a cheap anime hooker with no torso, only a spine with breasts. The cartooney style destroys the realistic, gritty atmosphere that the original once had.
Price has been confirmed at $400 a pop, yay.
I really don't like the d-pad, or should I say the d-pancake. Overall, it seems to be a somewhat powerful system, but nowhere revolutionary. For $400, I could get a decent PC that can do a thousand things I couldn't do with a 360.
Now I know NOT to get an Xbox.

Well, keyboard+mouse can provide precision and the ability to have many, many commands that are just as available, but they're not as comfortable.
That, and the gaming controller is made for the purpose of gaming. Keyboard is made for functionality.
And I don't like how in most computer games, you can turn around in theoreticaly one frame, so it doesn't matter nearly as much if someone sneaks up behind you.
