How are high-school relationships like a toilet seat?
Every high-school boy/girlfriend relationship I've ever seen (except one) has ended in pain. They always end up leaving each other at the end of high school. The one I'm talking about that didn't end in pain they both went to the same college.

Its all about the sex. Thats the only reason band geeks got popular. Everybody now knows they get all the sex.

I think I would... Love is love, no matter what really. But I would try to change her. But hey I've already got a wonderful girlfriend, so I guess this doesn't apply to me.

What school do you go to? My band is nothing like that.

i doubt any of you would ever be considered to be in the situation to be a trophy. except there are a few exceptions.

If i was a trophy boyfriend, and I thought the girl was hot, and I would so turn it around and be like here is my trophy girlfriend.

I couldn’t love a girl who:
a. Didn’t love me back at all
b. Was using me as a tool
c. Desired cheap high school (or college, or some other kind of thing) prestige based on dating me
So there is no way I would stay with this girl if she continued to think of me as a trophy boyfriend.

FireKame, if this is about you, or a friend or something. Dump him (or tell a friend to dump him, I’m guessing in real life the genders are reversed). What will probably end up happening is that he will cheat on you, and break your heart. He is also probably employing a bunch of fronts to keep you (or your friend, or the person in the hypothetical situation with the genders reversed) as a trophy girlfriend. Because he knows that if you got to know the real him, then you wouldn’t love him anymore, and he would lose his bragging rights.
I know you (or your friend, etc.) is too good for that kind of boy (or girl).

My answer can offend someone, so if you dont wanna read it dont read it but... what I would do is her and leave her the next day (Honest answer if thats the case)

Guys, there's more to life/dating/love than just sex. I know that most of you guys are just now entering Puberty and have this uncontrollable desire for some downright dirty sex. All of us more mature/older people have gone through this stage but believe me, someday you will realize there's more to life than sex.

You're 17... if you're looking for love now, or you think you've found it... lets just say you'll be disapointed.

I'm just saying that relationships aren't about sex as some people here seem to imply.

You're saying that you can't ove at a younger age? I ask you, why not? I think I already found my future wife( ) But I find that opinion... ignorant, for lack of better word....

What is going on here? I don't quite understand what is happenening. What Spaceboy said doesn't seem the least bit racist to me, can someone explain?

I don't understand some of the other member's posts here, but if I got in that situation, I would talk to her and try to make her understand that I love her, and that is not some cool thing that she can just use to have something to brag to her friends about. If she is more worried about having someone to brag about to her friends, that means her friends are more important to her than me, and that is just utterly unbelievable. (Some girls can be so mean. O.O)

Let me know how that works out. =/ You may think she's all that now, but when you go to college, you're going to be chained down, unlike all your friends who dumped their girlfriends/boyfriends before they went to college. Maybe if you both plan to get a job right after highschool. But whatever, I hope it works out for you, I'm just saying it doesn't happen often.

I've never had that feeling before, just to have sex. It's just nice to know that you have someone caring for you, and someone you can take care of and enjoy and cherish time with you. Doesn't have to be sex I suppose.
