I had like 10 people ask me if they could imitate my name, all my answers were "No".

I dislike other members imitating other people, with Ultimo and Devlin we could handle it because it was just one we left it like that and thought no one else would follow because of all the confusion. Then like 7 people changes and exchanged their names and we didn't know who was who unless you looked at the user number and date of joining SEN.

My suggestion would eb that before you buy a name change, some kind of warning like a "Report This Post" should be giving to the admins//staff. Then if we approve we will give you the name change item. If we disaprove then you get your refund. You are basically buying the right to change your name.
That way we can keep track of all name changes and avoid a bigconfusion.

We could've even banned the wrong person because of this madness.

warhammer40000 was about to rename it into warHAMmer40000, does he still HAVE to rename back to warhammer40000? I was about to rename my name, but the time isn't right, and people will still know who I am. (Obviously)

My only question is, if we have permission, can we do it? (IE: Devlin and Ultimo)

I changed my name to suit my new hero: Jeeroy Jenkins. I'll change it back to DevliN soon, though.

I don't care if you ask for permission. Once you start copying avatars and signatures and I have to spend minutes analyzing who is who, then I have a problem (and others do too).

when im scrolling down a page, i tend to almost subconciesly symbolize the colour and contents of an avatar to the person. ie; when i scroll down a page and see the templar, i think its my post. Thats what i hate mostly about having same avatars.. it makes me stop and look around in confusion before i can start scrolling again..

Lots of people use avatars and signatures to do that with.
I recognize my posts by the massive-colors of my avatar, though now I see more Mr.bob posts than my own...

They don't care unless you copy another persons name and act like them (avatars, signatures, profile).
