Good lord am I the only one liking the GC here? If theres ONE console I'll buy, it WILL be the Nintendo GameCube!! Nothing else! How can you people NOT play Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart, Zelda WW, Metroid Prime!!

I play games that have good #### in them. Zelda WW sucks, I hate Mario Kart, Super smash bros 1 is good enough for me, and metriod prime graphics look gay.

I do play SSBM, at my friends house. Mario Kart isn't as fun as PS2 racing games (GT). Zelda: WW is great. Metroid Prime is the worst Metroid game so far. I prefer all the others.
I actually plan on buying a GC and X-Box ... when they are 7 years old and sell for 30 bucks. Thats how much I just payed for my N64, plus 40 for 2 games.

OMG Metroid Prime is one of the best games ever made, its huge and the graphics aren't "gay" they are the best for GC and almost any other system.

While Metroid Prime may be one of the best games ever made, all the other ones are much much better. The graphics are pretty gay, considering what the previous Metroids look like. I really think they could have done a lot better making the game.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or what. There hasn't been a Metriod game since Super Metroid for the SNES, and the graphics in that were hardly comparable to Metriod Prime.
Anyway, I've seen a couple of clips from Ghost, and it looks very impressive visually. I'll prolly get it for GC because I just don't play my PS2 as much as I used to. =\

Nintendo has only let me down... from their crappy n64 cartridges... to the WW kiddy graphics... Nintendo is going DOWWWNN... I have been a fanboy quite sometime... Nintendo then sells Rare to Microsoft... That just pushed the line... Nintendo will sink, it is inevitable. Even the Gameboy Advance has competiton.

Yeah, have you people badmouthing GC even played half the games you are talking about? "Kiddy graphics"? Although I personally consider them a mistake, they are still not "kiddy". They are simply utilizing a different graphical style, and I applaud them for breaking away from the formula. And as for Prime's graphics...... "gay"!?? They are some of the best on any system to date. Of course, Half-Life 2 will slaughter it and 99% of current games, but that's neither here nor there.

Not EGM, they rate games just as good as they are, unlike some other mags, for example Enter the Matrix, a terrible game, yes? I have read reviews like "Excellent", "I felt like I was in the Matrix" Not EGM, they gave it a bad score and talk about why, not just rate it and and say its good or not. They also arent sponsered by a company such as official playstation magizine, which is PS's own magazine, so every game they rate made by Sony is "awesome"

I've read every gaming magazine I've ever seen on the shelf. EGM was one of them included in my remark and it stays the same today. I could go pick up a copy right now and come back and list to you every game they were payed to rate differently just by looking at it.
But some magazines don't do that if they think to game is pure 100% crap, or if the company denies them money for doing it. Its called doing business. You pay to look good in the business world.
