I agree that the toys and McDonalds crap IS gay, but the website has "indepth" gameplay, just aimed for little kids though. I like to think of it as Pokemon. Beneath all the crappy pokemon names and kiddie crap, there's some good gameplay elements in there. Neopets is kind of like the old arcade/armies/mineral system at SEN, with other extra "quests", and I liked that.

The weird thing is that it actually DOES have an economy of its own. Like, with economic trends and stuff...

There are people who sit there going, "Hmmm... I wonder if Bottle of Blue Sand is going to raise in price today, should I stockpile?", just like people do in real life.

For some reason, any thread with atleast two pages will see the word gay show up atleast once. How a game can be homosexual is beyond me, well, unless it's some sorta yaoi, (gay hentai), game, which I doubt even exist. The word you're looking for is effeminate, girly, or childish. Kellimus, intelligence in a debate hardly relies on spelling. He had a point, and you ignored it by pointing out an irrelevant flaw. The game is for little kids, who don't mind repetition as much. As for me.... I'm getting addicted to Gunbound.

That's part of it's depth and "fun". I enjoy games with depth like that, even if it's based on something childish.

I didn't want the Neopet toys to be in the original discussion because they are a very different thing from the website.

Neopets was aimed for people around ages 17-18 when it was made, but it just happened that lots of kids played it instead. That's why there's stuff like NeoPoker and other gambling games.

That reminds me, those freaking Christmas paintbrushes used to be 60,00 dollars and so where those chia pops, but now they're like 30,000! So just leave some stuff in your safety deposit box for a few months and the price could go up by 100%.

They don't make live action porn games, they'd have to pay them to do all possible actions, it's alot cheaper to just animate it in flash. The majority of these games are japanese made, animated, and therby, hentai.

Anyhoo, it got boring REAL fast, especially after it got ultra-popular and now they're trying to sell you :poo: EVERYWHERE.

Yeah, I was obsessed with neopets early on (when there was no battledome) for a while, got bored, went back, got bored, etc. It's been an on and off thing for about 5 years now, well recently I haven't been doing anything. My main account is "thekryptonite".

It was fun watching the game go from semi-popular to popular, and watching it evolve and stuff. That's one thing that I like about it, it's free and it gets updates regularly. It has stuff to keep older people playing too, it's not just a kids game.

It was REALLY amazing to see how much the prices of items would fluctuate. I was one of the lucky one who had like four Hypno Helms stashed away when they went for like 3000 neopoints. They rose to 1mil or something over the years. I think that was really the secret to getting rich, you just had to hold on to the right items. Such a volatile economy it has going though.

I logged on and saw all the popups and advertisements, and every three second they're trying to sell you some stupid plushie... they used to be a non-profit organization... all the new advertisements and stuff are really...
