Here's why Linux is better. It's GUI is a skin. Things don't run on the GUI, things run on it's code that was originally release a bajillion years ago. In fact, it doesn't even have a GUI STILL. It runs a windows emulator in some versions.
It's more stable than Macs no matter what. Also, there are NO viruses designed for it. There are some Mac viruses, but they aren't common.
