Maybe we should just call it Sol X (Or Sun X, but that sounds even more lame), which would be the technically correct name.
Earth would be Sol III, Saturn would be Sol VI and so on.

I like Bacchus and Vulcan as planet names, but the fact that the planet hasn't already been named after a Greek/Roman god/goddess may hint that they actually want this one to sound special.
