which means you've been laughing at me for years war...

on b.net, my speach is either good grammar, and sometimes it's bad. I don't use much punctuation, a period usualy goes ignored, by me anyways. An exclamation of question is abotu all I use, except commas, I use commas a lot.

On forums, I try to use correct punctuation, never did get the hang of semi-colons tjough.

ADDITION:
oh yeah, about spelling. I am famous for typos. Usualy it's because of how I type, and sometime because of bad habbits. The word the is my most often mistake, Teh instaead of the.

Like everyone else has said...Grammar is almost required for forums.
But I use it in chatrooms, too. So I guess I'm just an oddball. crazy.gif

[center]No, Rexy, you're unique just like everyone else.
Grammar/Punctuation/Capitalization is the difference between "i had to help my uncle jack off a horse" and "I had to help my uncle Jack off a horse."

I would also add of, so like ... Jack off of a horse.

Also maybe like commas around Jack, so like ... my uncle, Jack,

An intentional lack of grammar etiquette doesn't bother me near as much as an unintentional... which is rather surprising to me.

Nah, I feel the same way about intentional lack of grammar, but I don't find it surprising, since the person who does it intentionally realizes what they are doing. It may be to prove a point or act silly, but it's to be expected if someone else can't understand their intentional lack of grammar.

Who cares if they don't use good grammar? As long as you understand it, your fine. Now if someone does this;

H! H()\/\/ R' UZZ12!24

You can ask them, can you speak english?
If someone does this its fine;

Hey, lol, I had a wierd day 2day.

See you can understand that a 100% better.
Typing in the first example expands the words, so they arn't lazy, they just think they are professionals.

Grammar is everything. The point is that most of the time when they don't use proper grammar you aren't able to understand them.

Plus it makes them look like they put no effort into their posts, or care about what they are talking about. Especially in the serious discussion you can see examples of it.

Not to mention it makes them look like a damn noob, but I guess that's fine with many people here since they are alike tongue.gif
