The drone thing was the creation exploit. It worked with terran buildings as well(free addon, cancel=money).

This new patch? As in the 1.13c, and you can't make Infested Terrans that go boom when they hit something or are told to suicide? That's... not really a loss, no one uses them. But it is something that should be brought to Blizzard's attention.

They are kind of obliged to make another... they've disabled a part of the game by accident... which in my eyes, is funny as hell.

Hurrah for Blizzard.

What?! It shouldn't be 1.13c, it should be 1.14, because Ðk had nothing to do with it this time.
...Right?

Thing is... how many people actually use Infested Terrans on a widescale use anyway? Okay, there's the occasional taunt by death by ITs, but who uses them for normal combat? They are way too high up the technology tree, tend to do more damage to the user than the enemy, don't build like the other zerg (it builds one at a time), and it can attack only ground. The only thing that goes for the IT is that it has the second fastest movement time for ground troops (as fast as a rine on stim), does splash damage, and robs the enemy of a command center (if he is Terran), but often the effort is more than the reward. It also requires quite some micromanagement with the Queen and other units, if they don't destroy the Command Center first.

Let's just say Infested Terrans are part of melee, UMS, and Blizzard's Campaigns, and it needs to be fixed.

I didn't included melee in my explanation, did I? UMS is a different sotry, completely, because it is preplaceable, and it could be used in some RPg or other game system by making ITs. Although most of the time, I see something in the tune of melee in UMS maps. But either way, it needs to be fixed. No matter how superfluous and unecessary it might be. A fix is a fix. Unless Blizzard is trying to disable Its.

Wow are you serious? 500 splash dmg is killer for only 100 minerals and 50 gas. (About as much as one dragoon which does only 20 non splash dmg). If a zerg player has access to infested terrans, he has an enormous advantage. If you're overlooking such a crucial part to the Zerg race, then you need to learn some more melee and play the campaigns again.

We should report those sites to Blizzard and make them shut down those sites. They are directly responsible for creating and distributing those hacks. Especially hacks like inhale and the maphacks.
Now now, there's no need to be such an a-hole and snitch. Maybe this poem written by a hacker will make you think twice: http://hdx.no-ip.org/Hacker.htm

Okay.. edited the topic post.
It's odd that Infested Terrans were modified with.
I think it might having to do with being the last unit in the list of 3 possible units in the unit list with Extended Alliance Status triggers.
