for me, i cant personally stand classical music (and 90% of my class). we just fall asleep in class. it jsut seems to bore me, even though its like the most famous.

What do you suppose Rap is? Rap borrows elements of Electronic music if you think about it. Synthesizers? Drum Machines? All utilized in Electronic Music first.

Rap came before electronic music, sure, a lot of modern rap implements electronic music, but basic rap only requires a vocalist.

Kellimus, note sampling doesn't require any divine talent. The fact that a computer can preform it at any speed in any combination, backwards, forwards etc at the click of a few buttons makes it fairly simple to produce, although time consuming. If it sounds good, that's fine, arguing which is harder is pointless.

PS: I'm not a fan of either genre.

. I like the old-school lyrics but new-school beats. For the most part I don't like rock, but I can stand some of it.

No pop music?

I like Rock music best in general. Some pop is ok, but eventually i might get sick of it. I can't stand hip hop except for like 1 out of every 10 songs out there.

Before I really branched off from my parents musical preferance, I was mostly exposed to classical. I used to like it, but now that I've left it for other forms, I don't seem to anymore.

Rap.. I think rock is a bunch of biznatchy white guys whining about their problems. An example is the song Take It Away (not sure who made it), it goes basically like this TAKE TAKE TAKE TAKE TAKE etc........ IT AWAY!!!! Over and over....... It's a very annoying song that really sounds terrible..

Stop hating rap, and stop hating rock. They're both got their ups and their downs. (Mostly downs)

Rap is better for clubs, and rock is better for live concerts. But they can still do both.
