Why should Slyence be removed of his DLDB keeper position just for "stealing" topics from other sites? That does not prove his lack of ability in managing the DLDB...

I was kind of half-joking, but don't you think DLDB keepers should be responsible?

I never said take away his dldb powers, I just think we should shun him. If you think he'll go berserk and start deleting **** because people are shuning him that's your look out.

The funny thing is that I've posted this MANY times, but nobody had bothered to listen to me, EVEN in the election thread. Perhaps I should have PMed it to Yoshi, but he rarely even gets on...

As for removing Slyence, I don't think we have to push it that far. As long as he is commited and is on OFTEN, keep him on there. If we have files that take months to get submitted... somethings wrong there.

Usually takes a week with DTBK by himself.

Yes, I did copy the threads from Blizzforums, but I guess I never really bothered to quote them, the staff can take away my minerals + post count, I don't care about them. just wanted to see what people at Staredit.net had to say about the topic...

Never bothered to quote them... that's a pathetic excuse. Especially if you read some of the replies you've quoted which state personal opinions that other people wrote, by not quoting you make us think you actually thought up those words. It makes me think a whole lot less of you.

If you truly never thought to quote then you are just plain stupid plain and simple. If one thought never went into your head that going to another forum and highlighting their reply and copying and pasting to create another topic was wrong then that's what you are.

And just quoting a reply and not adding anything isn't any better. You might as well tell us to register at blizzforums and post there. At least people there use their minds to write up topics.



Well he is a DLDB Keeper, it depends how it would alter the punishment. He IS part of the staff and has more responsibilities and should behave better than any other member on the forum.

And just because he's a DLDB Keeper doesn't mean he doesn't have responsibilities as a member posting on the forum.



Yes let me quote your well thought out posts that you put your opinions into and give you no credit. Let me do that a dozen times and use no effort of my own so I can benefit from what you thought of. And if the person doesn't have a motive for doing it then they are just stupid. Yet they probably do have a motive, they think that if they start many threads they will have higher participation and will be regarded as a better member. That is the true motive of anyone who copies a dozen threads.

And I'm sure that since people do this "$hit" all the time then it makes it right.

Yes, they do use there minds, and I thank them for that. I copied those topics for one reason, and one reason ONLY... To see what the people at SEN have to say about it. I also know I should behave more then any member on the forum... If you haven't noticed, those topics are WAY before I ever became a DLDB Keeper. And I assure evrey member here that this will NOT happen again.


I know it still means I have responsibilities as a member and a DLDB Keeper. After this quote, I will be adding credit to all of the threads I have created that weren't actually mine.

So all I have to say about this is that I know I was wrong, and im willing to fix all of this, but no one is giving me a chance to explain myself. You all are ready to get me fired and even banned from the forum before letting me explain.

Yes it is an excuse. Saying you never took the time to quote is an excuse. And I'm sorry but taking someone else's writing and giving no credit to them and making it seem as if you actually said it would make anyone with a brain think less of you.

Yea to see what we had to say about it, and guess what at the same time you also had us believe it was actually you who was actually writing that stuff. No matter how good your intentions were and even if you were just copying threads for the good of this forum it still doesn't make it right. It would be like stealing a map just so you could fix one tiny glitch and then claiming as your own. If you had such good intentions then you should have credited the person who created the original topic as well.

Your one reason doesn't make what you did right, or any less wrong. You can't justify it.
