I only have thing against the iraqies. i dont like them they have issue. the only reason i hate them is because they pick off our soldiers. they asked us to come in and terminate Saddam and now we try to help them and they try to kill us. im surpised the 2nd 9/11 doesnt happen
I'm sorry to inform you, but not all Iraqis want all Americans to die. That is like saying you hate all Muslims because Muslims were responsible for 9/11.
The ones that asked us to 'terminate' Saddam (after we put him into power

) are NOT the ones killing us.

i think USA went into this the right way. We would have never went in there if they had just handed him over. We had enough evidence to be suspicious, we saw military trucks moving from faciltys. Recently we found a type of gas (cant remember what its called) they had claimed they destroyed all of this type of gas. Also we are giving the country back to them with a working government so they can be their own people. We are fixing the damages we caused. so i for one believe we are doing the right thing
I agree with a bit of this. I think suspision doesn't warrant a war though. And I think we would have gone in there is they had handed him over. We are NOT fixing the damages we have caused. Bush glorifies the Iraqi reparation efforts, I've heard tons of stuff on the radio about how little we have actually done in the reparation category.
plus, no matter what anyone says, there were alterior motives going into this war.
read this article, it is extremely well written and summarizes the US's connections to Iraqi oil.
Some excerpts:
SECRET DEALThe US Defence Secretary, Donald H. Rumsfeld, is a strong supporter of president Bush's plan to invade Iraq, yet a few years ago he personally helped to supply Iraq with biological and chemical weapons!
Donald H. Rumsfeld attended a secret meeting with Saddam Hussein in Iraq on behalf of the US government in December 1983, and agreed to sell Iraq weapons of mass destruction and arranged a loan to give Saddam Hussein the money to buy them. At that time, Iraq was using weapons of mass destruction against its neighbours, and the US not only allowed this but actively supported it.
US VICE-PRESIDENT CHENEY SHARES OUT IRAQ'S OILHalliburton, an oil services company based in Bush's home-state of Texas, which was formerly run by US Vice-President

Cheney, has already been awarded a contract by the US government to operate in post-war Iraq.
UN support for Iraq war was "bought for a price" by US government.US intelligence effectively "bought" or "hired" the support of the United Nations Security Council for a war with Iraq, by offering them a share in the spoils of war. Permanent members of the UN Security Council have been guaranteed a stake in the profits from Iraq's oil, the world's second largest source, provided that they keep quiet about their objections to the war.
The permanent members of the UN Security Council were the only people to see Iraq's complete weapons declaration before the US government removed 70% of it, leaving only 3,500 pages of the 12,000 page report.
The Central Intelligence Agency, America's national security service, has officially declared that Iraq does not pose a threat to the West. In fact, the CIA has warned that a U.S. attack on Iraq will actually cause a greater threat to American national security. There is also a lot about how the US wanted to invade Iraq
before 9-11.
This article really reveals a lot about the alterior motives of the US government, it is a great read. If you think the US is in Iraq for glorious reasons, I suggest you read that thouroughly.
