Doom and Doom2 were excellent.
I won't pass judgement on Doom3, simply because I've never played it before.
Far Cry--excellent. I see they're finally putting out a version of it for consoles.
Dark Forces--great. Heretic--just like Doom, except in the Middle Ages.
Counter-Strike--great. Half-Life and Half-Life 2--amazing.
Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight II--excellent. Jedi Knight III--not so good.
Quake, Quake II, Quake III--all good.
Unreal, Unreal2, Unreal Tournament and all its various permutations--pretty good.
Unreal 3--Still waiting for that one. Sounds great.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadows of Chernobyl--Beautiful game.
Unreal 2 on XBox was dreadful, I hear it was pretty good on PC though.
DUKE NUKEM FOREVER!!!!!!!!!
I don't play FPS games too often, but I am really enjoying the SWBF2 beta right now. The combination of space and ground combat is really fun.
(Boarding enemy ships, destroying things from the inside, etc.)
For PC its Unreal Tournament (I REALLY WANT 2K4...or 2K7 either way...)
For Xbox its a tie between Halo 2 and Doom 3 except for Multiplayer then its Halo 2 lol.
You rate Unreal Tournament higher than Doom3?

heck yes! Doom 3 sucks for Xbox because you need lan to play multiplayer. Unreal Tournament you can customize it with sweet mods or download wicked maps. Once I got a monster kill from shooting people all in a line with my sniper! So much fun! besides Doom 3 would be too powerfull for my comp...farkin peice of crap! lol
I'm not talking about the pansy candy-ass Xbox version. You should have gotten it for the computer. Jesus, it looks so much better.
I wish i could, but like I said, my comps not powerful enough. The graphics card got screwed over (got damn nVidia!) so yea...But if I did have Doom 3 for the comp it might beat UT but I dont know how multiplayer works for it.
I got that game, just dont play it because it likes to disconnect alot for me.
Counter-Strike, yaaaaay! I love that game, if I had my sound, I'd probably be playing it way more. I just love it, the teamplay and everything.

What is your screen name on AA? I might bump into you some time, although unlikely. Mine is the same as I use for almost everything. KaboomHahahein.
Without a flipping doubt, Halo:Combat Evolved. I mean, in what other game can you fully interact with your environment, marines, and enemies? Not to mention the merciless slaughter you can unleash and the many weapons and vehicles that keeps the game fresh no matter how many times you play it. Halo also has pretty good graphics and a kick-ass storyline that actualy makes sense. Yeah, I'd definitely say it's the best FPS I've ever played.

How can you like the Xbox version of Doom 3 better than Halo 2...
I didnt say Doom 3 was the best I said overall Halo 2 would be best because Multiplayer is what i look for in a game. And Halo one isnt bad but I didnt find too much interactivity in the environment.
Halo 2 is good for multiplayer, expecially with friends, I tend to dislike playing with random people though.
I really like perfect dark and goldeneye for the N64. Halo is really good too. But I just love Time Splitters 2 and future perfect, there freakin' funny too man.
Plan of attack- Great tactical gameplay, good mix of skill and tactics
Dystopia- Absolutly awesome game, feels like deus ex, but multiplayer and with more indepth hacking.
F.E.A.R- That scary little girl suprises me every time.
