DS does have all that stuff the problem is that they hardly use it, at this current time the DS blows (In my opinion of course, and many others) but if they think of more games that acutally use the things they added in, the portable would be a lot better.
I agree that the features can be used a lot better, but I think so far, it's decent. You can draw custom images on the DS and with the touch screen, you can have more buttons than the 6 you already have. Kirby Canvas Curse uses the touch screen to good use, as well as Wario Ware touched. Whether it uses it well or not is really opinion. Mine is just as good as yours.

By one of the best and good games I'm refering to how many units they sold, if you don't like the game, great. That doesn't change the fact that there's over a million over people that do like it.
If you are so confident about your "facts" can you give me your sources, which state which games sold a million or not? How do we know you aren't pulling numbers out of your head? For a million people that might like it, there could be 5 million that hate it. Statistics, unless proven, are worth nothing.
Just because Beyond Good & Evil did not sell well, does it mean it's a bad game? Just because Second Sight did not sell well, is it a bad game? Just because Psychonauts, Syberia or Still Life didn't sell well, are they bad games?

I keep mentioning to you that the battery life isn't that bad, when's the last time you went on a 20 hour long road trip? Or a 10 hour road trip without reaching an outlit?
I went 2 weeks ago to Washington DC and we frequently had bus rides, so I could have benefitted from using the DS there definitely. Whether or not you prefer it is just opinion, which is worth nothing to the argument. The point is that the DS has double the battery life of the PSP. Whether you like it or not, that's a fact. Let's leave the readers to decide if they think this is good or not.

What I was getting at is that they're is no point arguing over whether the Analog stick is better then the D-Pad because everyone has personal prefence. You don't like the analog err, disc, and I do, nothing is going to change our minds so we can stop arguing about it? (AKA don't reply to this paragraph since it's not trying to prove anything)
You like the sliding disk better, good for you. I like d-pad better, at least on the PSP. It's not an argument, it's just preference. My opinion has nothing to prove, nor does yours. Why you thought my opinion was an argument is beyond me.
QUOTE
I'm one out of hundreads or millions of people that like the PSP better then the DS, or just plain like the PSP and are so rich they buy both.
Before you start assuming things, why don't you give me websites that show NUMBERS. Whether this is true or not, it doesn't prove how the PSP is better than the DS. So if 9/10 people in the world started eating rotten cheese, that makes it better than eating normal cheese. The majority vote does not appeal to the individual.

Well here's a little facts for you. The Ps2 has crappier graphics thent he Xbox by a little bit (I don't really know where the Gamecube stands graphic's wise so I'm using XBox and Ps2). However the Xbox is NOT selling better then the Ps2, maybe it's because people thought Xbox's games suck and the Ps2's didn't? Like the PSP and DS. PSP has a crappy battery life, but not many people seem to care enough to not buy it all together, it might be because they have a grudge against nintendo, or maybe it's because the DS' games suck (currently).
The cube is better than the PS2 in the graphics department. Maybe that's why RE4 had to be TONED DOWN for the PS2. PS2 games can hold more content however. As for your example, it doesn't make sense. Why people bought the PS2 more is something you can't prove, nor can I. I do believe that LAUNCHING FIRST had a lot to do with it
Who are you to tell why people didn't buy consoles? Maybe it's because they don't like Microsoft? Maybe it's because they didn't want to pay to go online? There are so many reasons that your logic is screwed up. You can't automatically assume something and parade it as a fact.
Again, majority vote has nothing to do with this argument. If 9/10 of the world went bald, would it be good to go bald? How many people liking something has no relation to it's quality.

World Wide, maybe, I'm not exactly sure on that one. I know DS is winning Japan PSP is winning America by some percentage but other places like Austrila, Europe, and Canada, I have no idea. Since your so into facts why don't you find a website with sale charts.
Here you go:
"Currently, the Nintendo DS is outselling the PSP in total worldwide unit sales with over 8 million units sold"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DSFrom here it states:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_PortableAs of Friday October 21, 2005 the PSP had shipped 10 million units worldwide. These are only figures for the number of PSP units shipped to retailers, however;
actual sales figures of the system are unavailable.
We do know however that the DS is outselling in Japan with 2,262,836, compared to the PSPs 1,328,325.
http://www.gamesarefun.com/gamesdb/platform.php?id=84http://www.gamesarefun.com/gamesdb/platform.php?id=74Sales don't matter however. Quantity is not related to quality.
As far as this thread goes, I've listed areas where the DS beats the PSP, while the PSP has better graphics and a larger screen. I could say it also plays music and movies, but so can the DS with play-yan.
However, what ultimately suits the person should be games. If the person was looking for a movie player, they should get a portable dvd player. If they wanted music, get a ipod or cd player. PSP and DS are primarily called portable gaming machines. This ultimately goes down to what games the consumer prefers. So what makes the DS better than the PSP or the PSP better than the DS for THE INDIVIDUAL ONLY, are the games that the prefer to play.
