Read the directions:
1.Open Map [128x128]
2.Open Picture (after it is done loading the picture make sure that it fits in the little screen in BMPtoSCM! If it doesn't you'll only get what you see in that screen.
3.Open StarForge, go to the Terrain Palette, click on a terrain square, open calculator (easiest way), multiply the first number by 16 and add the second number.
4.Type in the color you want to change to that terrain and press go.
5.When you're done, click Convert at the top.
6.Save it!

Wow, Bolt, I always thought you made Caprice with BMP2SCM. I didn't realize it inspired Vanguard. I, personally, think that Caprice is the best minimap pic I have ever seen. Learning that it was made without BMP2SCM only improves its standing.

lol I looked at the modified date for the map. It was made/finished almost exactly a year ago. (one year and one day)

I guess I could see why mini-map pics are enjoyable. But, if you know about google, and have the internet, you can find much better. biggrin.gif
