I seriously doubt he was completely full blood, just like 'African American' people aren't full African.

That's what I've been told. I don't have any papers to PROVE it, but he was born in the early 1920s, so it's alot more likely he was (although he wasn't full blood CHEROKEE, he was mostly Cherokee and has some Choctaw, Creek and other tribes in him).

I'm not denying the fact that he's mostly Cherokee, but I doubt he's 100%

They then took 8.4 BILLION acres from Indians. Now, all they have was and still is the 6.4 million acre reservation that almost no Indians live in anymore. I think that is some staggering fact for you to handle.

They is a key term here.
QUOTE
look what they get now! they had 6.8 BILLION acred before Spanish caused havoc in this world. The rightful owners of this land do not get anything besides couple little reservs throughout the country. And I think that is a robbery!

Land has been taken with brute force in history countless times.

Heck if Columbus hadn't come here you guys wouldn't be born, stop whining.

I just learned this in history and I believe it was Queen Isabella of Spain who ordered him, but I could be wrong.

When you said "direct orders", I meant who ordered him to kill so many people. I know how he got there. :/

A little history lesson for you all.

Christopher Columbas was only looking for a passage into India via sea by traveling west. During his first expedition, he encountered peacefull indians called the TaĆnos which told him stories of another group of indians called the Caribs which were canibals. When he returned with news of success, his new orders were to keep exploring. Columbus never founded one settlement except for "La Natividad" in La Hispaniola in 1492. Almost all of the people killed by Columbus' expedition were caused by small battles with the indians.
There were no settlements nor plantations during that time, so there were no slaves.

Columbus was an explorer but not a Conqueror.

Are you XXXXX? Beer just said what he was there to do, you XXXX XXXXX XXXXXXX.

He was never under orders to find god, that was a XXXXXX XXX argument created by a pathetic excuse of a debator

He never was sent to find slaves (You seem to ignore Beer when he said he was an explorer, not a conqueror. Columbus is not Cortes you tard) Yet another XXXXXXX excuse of a debte created by you, Chris.

The reason i'm Ad Homineming you, is because even with evidence in front of your eyes, you throw it out. You're to arrogent for your own good. Now leave here. You're unwanted by people because you "are NEVER wrong"

XXXXXXXXX XXX XX XXXXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XXX XXX

This should be closed because Beer pretty much killed the argument with facts.

LOOOOOL! kellimoose nice flame... anyway when he said god i believe that was a typo for good so it would actually be:

well he was under orders to find good and suitable slaves.

but it still is a poor argument because he wasnt there to find slaves... he was tehre to find a trade route.

He sure discovered America, but it wasnt until after his discovery, people actually learned of the foundation and new continent. Also, that resulted in genocide of Indians...

Native Americans -_- Indians are from India -_-

And his finding America didn't result in the genocide of the Native Americans, you whitie.. American's broke treaties.

So did the natives. They were savages. They filleted people alive, smashed skulls in, and other brutal stuff. Stop trying to make them the nice ones.
