I don't like school first of all. It creates hatred and evil, its boring and it makes your parents upset, and third of all you have to go or prepare to be poor and be a low life person. Our society is corrputed. It starts with a place of evil and it turns into greed at adulthood and remorse at old.

I like school, I mean... Everything have their disadvantages but averagely I like school. The system sucks, the majority of the teachers suck, but the students really make it a good place to be in.
The music class people that play guitar in the restrooms, the hot girls, all the social people and my math teacher who is really cool makes the school good!

At the moment I quite hate school. I'm in eight grade, the Math class is completely worthless for me, there is no computer class, science is good, SS we have a teacher who is used to college students (he writes sloppy, and when dictating talks too fast. He forgets we don't take notes, we copy word for word) and has other various problems (none too severe; its a simple matter of feeling like we're falling behind) and Literacy is an ok class.
I have some students who are very talented and who it is a pleasure to be around, but no one with my interest; computers (or starcraft).

I can't wait until High School. Hopefully I'll get into either Stuyvesant or Bronx Science (some of the best public schools in NYC), then maybe it'll be fun.
But, at the moment I have absolutely no idea how that will be.

In conclusion, at the moment it sucks but I'm expecting it to get better.

the point of school is to learn.

we learn how to do math

but we must do it over and over. every year. the fact is stuff after geometry you dont need to know unless you go into a job that requires it.

we already know how to read and write english

im wondering why they actually made a class called english. there should be grammer classes and such up untill 8th grade. then there should be a test if you pass it you dont have to take any classes if you dont then more classes.

history

this is a good class. it teaches you about things that went on earlier in time. however most of the time it is not interesting. i think they should redo the whole way of teaching history to make it interesting.(i suppose it also has to do with how good the teacher teaches)

science

this is another important class. we should know how things around us work and how the chemistry in certain elements react with each other. but then theres that same repition.

overall we learn how to do tests we learn how to do projects and we learn how to do work. but do we actually learn what we need for later on in life? we learn a lot of stupid and useless things in school.

I hate school .

School is alright. I like receiving new information in science and history about the world. You also get to meet your friends, etc. You get to challenge your intelligence by taking exams and be proud to get As (like me ;]).

But yeah, it's a part of life.

I dont like school cause my teacher picks on ME... if the whole class does something wrong I GET IN TROUBLE. If someone makes fun of someone else its always MY fault.

The only time i will like skool is when i get to talk to my friends and girls.

If the homework ammount was less and doesn't make you stressed out for good marks then I would not care about school.

I just wish the system wasn't so lazy as to put everyone in one class. Put the ones who get it much faster then everyone else (me and a few other people in my class) in an even higher-level honors class, then turn off homework and literacy, increase the speed of learning, and by age of 17 I'll be ready for university.

Literacy almost no jobs need, and anyway most smart people know everything they need about it in 8th grade.
Homework != good grades, good teachers = good grades
And If I finish college fast, I'll have 4 years of time to learn what I need, like extra programming languages, etc. I don't expect this to happen, by the way.

I hate it, but I have to go through it so, Ehhhh...

Unless I want to be a garbage man or a cashier at Wal-Mart, but I dont think so.

I don't really have homework, I have an hour and a half long study hall everyday, so I hardly ever bring any work home. I don't like waking up early, but I can deal with that..[/sub]

I would have absolutley no problem with school if it werent for homework. To quote my friend:

If you take out the homework and getting up at 6 in the morning, and put in a period that's just an hour of screwing around, drawing, and talking to friends (oh wait, that's what the teachers call "Health Class" ), then I would LOVE school. I get A's-throughC's, and the lower range is just becuase I don't always do my homework (or because my science teacher just hates me and gives me C's and D's on everything). Right now we're doing a unit on Japan in our core (Language arts and Social studies, one 2 hour perios with the same teacher) class, and we get to do a presentation on an aspect of Japanese culture. I'm doing my project on manga with one of my friends, narutoisme here on SeN, and we're going to edit the words from Naruto and make it into a Powerpoint so the characters are talking about manga. In math, we just finished a geometry unit that was pretty much all about the Pythagorean Therom. In health, I don't pay attention but I get A's. In science, my teacher hates me.

P.S.: If this seems easy to you, maybe it's because I'm only in 7th grade Honors classes!

I Love School to be really honest. Even though School may contain Hours of being in your desk doing your Homework or Studying. It's a place where you can have a chance to get to know and learn other people and make friends. But the School i'm in really helped me alot. It helped me inspire to make my maps and aswell it gives people Opportunity's for people to shine brightly and encourage others to help one-another. School helped me give myself some time to let me use my Immagination and my creativity that helped me grew my Saga. And also it helps get high Marks doing so . Aswell my Teachers are really supportive to my Saga that i've been developing on SC and soon it will be developed in Game Programs, Of course if I have enough money to buy those expensive Programs ><

(Price Range: 200 - 2000+ Dollars)

Thing is, most schools can't afford nice things for the students.

Take out grades. Take out teachers that base grades on whether they like you or not. Take out tests that force you under stress.

Put in a way for people to measure knowledge w/o basing it on luck, and it's 100% accurate (Grades are not accurate. Ppl cheat. Ppl copy. Stupid mistakes caused by nervousness. Multiple choice tests. Guessing.)

I'd gladly go then.

If there was nothing permanant in life, I'd do anything I wanted to.

I love school, learning new things are awesome. Meeting friends also a good reason why i like school.
