Pub Ideas.

A marine walks in, all banged up... or so it seems. People rush to the door to check out if anything is outside. Ends up the Marine is a stim addict, so they bring in a medic to heal him, and he just keeps stimming, and he's complaining about why he can't kill himself when he stims repeatedly. Have the medic get all mad, then she says she'll heal him one last time, but "oops" she used the wrong medication, and he ends up dead.

One on One deathmatches... Hmm, maybe have a celebrity death match! Kerrigan(human) vs Duran! Or vs Jim! With, yes, a funny outcome, hehe.

For normal 1v1 deathmatches, maybe have a firebat vs a zergling. The firebat knows he'll win, but thing is, the Zerg substituted their zergling for a Devouring One. The DO ends up ripping the bat to pieces, only to run away, dragging his corpse(maybe have a blood trail)

OO..I got one..have a scene where You know that Reavers are slow...well have it where a Protoss player is like Massing Reavers and is sending them to the enemys base..and the enemy is Zerg, and the toss player with all his reavers are gtting closer to the enemys base, have it that alot of ovies go over the players toss base and Hydralisks start coming out and the protoss dudes reavers are all the way down somewhere else and the Hydrasd are raming his base and by the time his slow ass reavers get there his base was pwned...something i just thought of

You find "bloopers" from other famous maps. Like a washroom in house of the haunted, or whichever.

Sweetness! Love your ideas, but not nearly enough! At some point I'll put them into an organized list and from there we can narrow it down, but not just yet. First I need to get the base triggers completed, and hopefully my scene with it, then the map will be ready for passing around. I'm gonna start the story board for my scene tonight (the story of a frustrated map maker), so any ideas for that?

Oh I just came up with another possible scene: Starcraft Rap! A rap song about Starcraft, with or without spoof content. Won't have actual voice, for filesize reasons, but there will be a looping rap track with words timed to it.

That just hurts lol..

Anyway, about that Frusterated map maker, u should put him that he's working on a map (map called "Impossible To finish") and He;s complaining about how he has to go to the restroom all the time and y he can't finish his map in a matter of Days and then He quits and....after like 5 minutes comes back and starts working on it again...

While hes triggering something, everything bugs up and explodes. Some unexplained things too

Frustrated map maker... scene is he's working at his computer... mumbling about some difficult triggers. scene jumps to a few hours later... POWER OUTAGE! The frustrated map maker starts swearing (censored) about how he didn't save the map during the entire thing, and now he has to restart. hahaha...

No no, I'm saying we don't have nearly enough ideas! That's all. I love the ideas so far, and I'm not holding them to any standards (this is still the brainstorming stage).

Ok I'll get the storyboard writen up after I get a pizza, some mountain dew, and play a bit on game night tonight. Ya'll coming, right?

EDIT- Oh yeah, and I'm thinking back to that one thread "You know you've played too much starcraft when..." for some stuff to make a scene out of. Any ideas for that too?

Interesting idea, or maybe just doing something like have someone saying;

Hmm... have some people playing The Club, when suddenly something explodes and the DJ has to leave and go fix it 'cause he's Tux... (EDITED: as in, a trigger goes wrong) okay, kinda stupid, but it popped in my mind.
As for my idea of including Mr.Happless... hmm...
You could have the scene be, the last part of him doing his Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha w/e the hell it is, and then, he goes over to some critters.

Tux i had a good idea. When i was at school.
Why not have a School Area.
Like a teacher, Students. All that stuff. but the class keeps annying the teacher and stuff. then they get a new student who is a zergling, See how that works out
It would be kinda funny to see that.

How about having buildings jumping up and down to crazy music and saying, "oh god, its the 1.11 patch over again, look what it did to my MAC!"

Money maps, the spawn of Satan. Maybe some veteran is ticked off about all these damn money maps then quickly goes on a killing spree with 10 or so Zealots behind him chanting "For Auir", need to think of a nice place for a killing spree... Maybe some office type building or something.



If it was done correctly it could be pretty funny.

Zealots - "For Auir!"

(They destroy something)

"For Auir"

(They kill something else)

Civilian "What the hell do you think your doing?"

Zealot: "For Auir!"

(One kills him)
