SCXE is still the best since the trigger editor there is the slickest and least buggy.  Classic Trigedit is a joke compared to the SCXE one and TrigEdit is also a hopeless excuse for a textbased trigger editor.  MB editor is also highly buggy.  SCXE takes the cake.  no syntax to worry about.  I find I actually clcik the mouse more making maps than playing starcraft.

I disagree, TrigEdit has actually saved me hours of work because Im able to copy it to WordPad and quickly use the search function to edit any trigger I want in a matter of seconds, without having to look for it. SCMDraft2 is my new lover. blushing.gif

Well, I'm happy to say that I haven't even heard of half the things you're naming.

I use a combination of Staredit, SCXE and Starforge depending on the type of map and what I'm doing.

Ex. I would use Staredit for melee maps. Easy terrain, minerals etc.
