Well for one, getting something like MSVC 2003 is worth it.

Also, it's free if you know where to look wink.gif

I'm just not a fan of illegal downloading.

Or i can use GCC. After all, thats what IceCC was made in. It is in no way a worse compiler, it just doesnt have a form editor. If i need a GUI i can write a GUI (wtf! why was i thinking of wrappers) in wxwindows or TK (why the hell was I thinking of Python?)

Ok, time for me to get some help...

After using this code from widgets:

}

The thing I don't know, is where to even start looking... What I want to do(or at least get a few "hints" as to what I should do) is when you select File.

I do not know how to add other things in there...

Now, what I am asking, is for you not to do the coding for me, but kind of guide me through what I should be doing...

wow looks like theyre trying to confuse you.
CODE
   // create a menu bar
  wxMenu *menuFile = new wxMenu;

  // the "About" item should be in the help menu
  wxMenu *helpMenu = new wxMenu;
  helpMenu->Append(Minimal_About, _T("&About...\tF1"), _T("Show about dialog"));

  menuFile->Append(Minimal_Quit, _T("E&xit\tAlt-X"), _T("Quit this program"));

  // now append the freshly created menu to the menu bar...
  wxMenuBar *menuBar = new wxMenuBar();
  menuBar->Append(menuFile, _T("&File"));
  menuBar->Append(helpMenu, _T("&Help"));

  // ... and attach this menu bar to the frame
  SetMenuBar(menuBar);

This is the menu part.
CODE

wxMenu *helpMenu = new wxMenu;

Help menu - new menu.
CODE

helpMenu->Append(Minimal_About, _T("&About...\tF1"), _T("Show about dialog"));

This is the program adding the About menuitem in the Help menu.
CODE

helpMenu->Append(Minimal_About, _T("&About OMG!\tF1"), _T("Show OMG dialog"));

This would add another menuitem that said About OMG!
