I should have taken summer school this year. I'm probably not going to graduate and I'm going to have to spend a year that the community college, which sucks, because I'm not stupid!! I get As and Bs (with the exception of geometry. I hate it. My mother doesn't understand why I hate it, because I'm involved with fine arts. I just glare back.) I just have a weird schedule.

summer schedule: Nice and easy. Do whatever I want whenever I want pretty much. :-D It's been fun.

band schedule:
Two weeks of get up at 7:30 (I have to leave for band camp at 7:45) do morning stuff, go to band camp, come back at noon, take a four hour nap and go back for more band camp until 8pm. Than there are sparatic competitions and parades. We left for pueblo last year at 4:30 am!!! That sucked. And we left for the spring at like 6. This year we are going to spend the night up there, I'm still trying to decide if that's a good thing or not. During the school year, the practice schedule is 3-5 pm on mondays, 2:30-4:20 on tuesdays and thursdays. I have no off hours on thursdays, and I'll be very damn lucky if I get one on tuesdays or mondays.

school schedule:
Crud I don't know where or when the bus is coming next year. Probably around 6:30, which means I have to be out the door by 6:15, which means I wake up at 6. Yeah. Not all girls take friggin forever to do stuff in the morning. Anyways, I get to one highschool, take japanese, than take a bus over to another highschool to do my other classes. However, the first school uses block periods, which means that my class is only one hour on mondays (plus another hour for transportation) but two hours tuesdays and thursdays. I could get a car and drive to and from both schools, but I don't have a hundred bucks to spend on the passes.

theater schedule:
every day after school from 2:30 to 4:30 when marching band isn't going on. I'm also a crew head of a crew and asst. crew head of another crew, so I pretty much have to be there. Besides, I want to change that asst crew head business to the crew head. or technical director. Sometimes we work later than that if we need to, especially during hell week (aka the week before preformance.) During the fall play it's pretty relaxed. During the spring musical I'm there usually until sixish when we have to clear off for the actors. I have no free weekends the month before a production.

so in all reality, I bring this crazy schedule upon myself. And ontop of all this, I still get As and Bs!

I just have one thing to say.
I feel sorry for firekame. w00t.gif

haha true dat. Did you know I can't locate Maryland on the map unless it is marked for me? And I don't know half of the capitals of the world, let alone the united states.

and I don't know much about time zones. and I have horrible direction, time and distance perception. A matter of fact the only thing I remember retaining is my english assignments and stuff, and that's cause it's cool and interesting.

shadowsnipe: like I said, or I think I said, I bring it upon myself. I could have such a simple schedule if I just wasn't so friggin involved. tongue.gif

Learning the material is not the same as memorising it. Me I just memorize it unless it's math then I have to memorize it (stupid honors math) and memorizations gotten me mostly A's and B's so I'm happy as it is.

I went to summer school for Math in grade 9. Since then I have only failed one class, and that was because I didn't do required volenteer work. Summer school is pretty fun though, all my friends usually go. I can't wait till after one more year, then Ill be done school altogether!

I hate my schedule my dad says I have to get back into "the mode of sleeping" for school so my schedule is like this.

8:00AM wake up
8:30AM start playing sc
11:30AM be bothered by my dad to start reading
11:31AM start postponing so I don't have to read
11:45AM start reading
12:00PM sneak back onto the computer while on phone to not be noticed so much
3:00PM eat lunch
3:30PM play sc
8:30PM eat supper
9:00PM play sc
11:00PM - 12:00AM go to bed

by the way summer school is for people who either didn't care about school enough to pass or stupid people. I am assuming Xeno just didn't care enough.

My internal clocks getting a little messed up too. Usually I go to bed at 1am, at the latest, and wake up for school around 7am. With summer and slacking off, thats gone up to 3am and wakes up to noon. Im trying to reverse the damage though; time for more exercise and playing the guitar in the morning.

I probably have one of the most out-of-sync with the world sleep patterns ever, and I hate it but can't change.

Schooldays are fine:

Get up - 7:15
Cycle to school - 8:10
School - 9:00-4:00
Get home - 4:45 (all uphill on the way back)
Do random stuff with no real schedule - 4:45-12:00
Get into bed - Sometime between 12:00-2:00
Sleep - Same as above

Weekdays and breaks are where I have serious problems:

Get up - Sometime between 9am and 3pm ermm.gif
(Usually) Do nothing constructive - (9am-3pm)-(1am-4am)
Sleep - 2am-5am

You can see how bad it is...my parents refuse to help however. They have this 'help your self' attitude when it comes to sleep problems.

Xeno just didn't care enough.

True, very true... I'm actually pretty smart, A/B's on tests most of the time... it's just the homework that brought my grade down, I really see no need for it. My English teacher talked to me several times telling me how good my writing was, but how the only reason I was getting a C was homework. mellow.gif

If I recall... these were my final grades:

History - Pass - Final Grade: D (I passed all the Benchmarks)
My parents tell me I did REALLY well on the SOL's though.

English - Pass - Final Grade: C (Yay, C's)

Math - Pass - Final Grade: D (I BARELY passed, on the last day I got the last benchmark I had to do completed.)

Science - Pass? - Final Grade: D (If I didn't go to summer school I would have been put in remidial.)

Art - Pass (Of Course.) - Final Grade: A (I know that really the only way you can get below a B in art is if you piss the teacher off.)

Introduction to Foreign Languages - Meh - Final Grade: D (F*ck that class, my teacher was a f*cktard.)

There we go... My "Legacy" of "Barely Above Failure" ...or something.
