Right now America pretty much rules the world. The more and faster they* get lazy, the better, I say, because they recently seem to be:

•So insanly Christian that people's rights are being taken away.
•Having a corrupt government.
•Attacking counties unprovoked(i.e. Iraq)
•A canadate didn't win the 2001 election, but became president anyway.

Hopefully they'll just become so lazy they won't stand up anymore.

In my opinion, the best thing that can happen with the War on Terror is this: First, Al-Qaida(sp?) conquers America. Then someone else defeats Al-Qaida. Then there is no more violently Christian/Moslim religious fanatics trying to blow up the world, and everyone lives happily ever after.



*I am American by blood and birth, technically. I try not to think of myself as American, though, because I am so ashamed about my country killing off the Native Americans and nuking Japan and invading Iraq and banning certain civil liberties that oppose Christianity and et cetera.

If we didn't kill off the native americans you wouldnt be here. Plus if we didnt do it another country would. We had to nuke japan they attacked the US. Then after we defended ourselves by attacking them they wouldnt surrender so we had to nuke. If we didnt nuke we would of had a lot more US casualties. even though we arent bannning their civil liberties, saddam was.

The electorial vote system, in my opinion, is much better than majority vote. With majority vote, all you have to do is campaign in NY and Texas and California and other highly populated states. With the electorial vote, you have a reason to go for smaller states.

The headline is an article entitled "Al-Qaeda had plans to release poisinous gas in New York City Subways" You probably complain about the 2,500 dead in Iraq, but if Al-Qaeda invaded America, millions would be dead. Al-Qaeda doesn't care whether or not your a Christian, you're still going to be killed by them.

The atom bomb ended WWII. It did it's job, which was to kill. You don't seem to see the point of war is to defeat the enemy. That's what we did.

You just lost all my respect, my mother didn't go college, because she couldn't qualify for financial aid but she didn't want to to live in a ****ing car. She has two jobs, and she's a single mom, she takes care of everybody I know very well, it wasn't her fault she couldn't become wealthy or have a great job. She does her best and works her hardest for the good of her & me, if that's lazy. I don't know WTF is.

You sir have almost insulted most of the poor people or less fortunate people in this country. Reading a book about "AP2 Honors Geometry & Physiology for Dummies!" is not going to get you a job, a college degree, a school degree, a degree will. Not some book to tell you how to do it. I don't work because I'm forced to either, I work so I can get my own stuff so my mom doesn't have to baby me or buy me everything so we can still live in this apartment and hopefully own a house.

I do not think America is getting lazy. How many people are overweight at my school? I'd say maybe 10\20 out of 400. I get up every day I jog around my block. I live in the country thats a good 3+ miles. I stay physically fit because I have football(soccer) coming up when school starts. Our school has finally got a team...infact where the only school on our conference who dosn't have a team. Soccer really isn't that big at my school and it really upsets me.

America right now has just got a little freaked over because of bush. I also think that the music\movie industries are growing to big and are causing more rebellious kids and I think this isn't good. I think we need the democrats to have the president and either the house or the senate. Thats what I think we need next election.

Why because you are wrong?

Because killing several hundred thousand civilians, including children and people from other countries, via searing their melting skin off of their living bodies and giving them hundreds of different painful types of cancer while they were forced to live in a hell on Earth for months, and killing even more people in future generations due to radiation, and then dropping another atom bomb in a different place, even though the first one had obviously ended the war with Japan, is NOT an intelligent way to end a war. There were dozens of other options, in case you didn't know, such as simply threatening Japan and showing them the destructive capability of the atom bomb, but did that happen? No. Instead America simply killed several hundred thousand people who weren't even soldiers in the war as retribution for Pearl Harbor, and then used the point that it ended the war to justify it. The soldiers were our enemies, the politicians were our enemies, the mothers and elementary school students who probably had nothing to do with the war weren't our enemies, but those were the only people that the bomb killed. Am I wrong? Is killing several hundred thousand people like you and me in a single decision for the purpose of revenge right? I know that Little Boy should never had been made, and nothing that some uninformed stranger on the internet tells me will change that. If Japan had gone through the same measures, you would be radiated right now and your whole family, no, your whole state, would be slowly dieing from cancer because of a stupid mistake made 50 years before you were born. That best friend at school would be dieing, your mother would be dieing, your girlfriend would be dieing, and if you think that could be justified by anything then you truly aren't a human being, you are the lowest of the low, the scum of life.
