If I hear that Daniel Powter Bad Day crap one more time, I'm shooting whoever's playing it. I didn't like the first time, the second time, or the hundredth time.

That's what I just did 433 songs (only about 1/15 of the music I have, but it's the stuff i like to listen to hardcore as opposed to the stuff that's on my ipod. I have a lot of my sister's music on my ipod.

Devil in a midnight Mass is overplayed (listen to ANY rock station)

At least they can sing well live and can write decent lyrics, unlike most bands who write kindergarden-level lyrics which 5 year olds can write.
But I don't like them that much anyhow.



I am now seriously starting to get sick of "Bad Day" And "What's left of me." It's about time they start playing new songs. Our radio Stations are waaaay to focused around hiphop/pop music and need to get more rock/alternative songs.

I don't listen to mainstream radio, if I listen it is 106.7 Rock Klassiker (Swedish radio who plays rock classics). But there's a song in Sweden about Zlatan Ibrahimovic which went around alot for like a month ago, but now when I am watching TV it's often this Shakira song the commercials is all about.

I try to stay away from the radio and Much music.

I think 'emo' is overplayed and over listened too. I don't want to listen to music that is going to make me cry, hate life, and possibly become suicidal . That's why I stick to rebellious (excuse my spelling) music such ass Twisted Sister, Warrant, Scorpions, Etc.

Personally, I just want good original music. It doesn't even have to make sense. This is probably why I like the Beetles a lot. An Octapus' Garden? Piggies? Paperback Writer? Nobody sings about such stuff today. It's pretty much been focused on pain and sorrow, love and breakup, and rebel against "the man". I find that there's a lack of originality. Almost always when my friends and I hear a new song, we say, "C, G, A, F" and surprise, that's the chord progression. And I'm not saying that talent doesn't exist today, it's just not as popularized as the people with looks or money. Also, it's like the musicians don't try their hardest on albums, they just put one song in there, and the rest are just forgettable and average. Overplayed song is hard to say, they all sound the same to me at this point.

I don't listen to the radio. They play the same eight crappy songs all day long, then interrupt it with crappy car commercials.

Rammstein - Du Hast is certainly overplayed, to me.
