It's not meant for bnet. P2 isn't even meant to exist. I should have just grabbed myself by the balls and removed it, so as to save people from confusion. I never fully implemented it anyway, so I think now it's doing more harm than good.

If it's gas you want you can always hang around and rack up kills in an area, or search for hidden chests. I balanced it so that by the highway chapter you should have gotten enough gas to get and upgrade at least the first two weapons, and get a few armor/ammo ups as well.


I'm thinking of doing a new version soon to tone down the weapon costs a bit (sorry for the late decision), close off P2, power up the shotgun's second upgrade, and tone down the forest DTs a bit.

ADDITION:
Naw, forget it. It'd be more of a pain to accomodate a few early game tweaks and have everyone have to re-download than to just leave it as is.

Just practice it a bit. That's all I can suggest.

Wow.. Just played it trought! closedeyes.gif Final boss was way too easy cry.gif Too much time to do it... :S The scary cave was maybe my favorite place. Still it's great map and maybe i'll play again and try to get the BFG biggrin.gif I was only 400gas away from it...

I liked it alot, the tutorial helped smile.gif I forgot how to hotkey w/e u need to hotkey. Can u tell me?

The only thing i didnt like was the buying weapons,upgrades. I kept trying to buy a shotgun and i had enough but it wouldnt let me...

I just played it. I got to the forest and lost, but that's because I suck.

Anyway, it's an amazing map, except that you misspelled "mandatory". wink.gif.

Well, u can if it doesnt have any thing that is from Brood war. Like terrain or units, etc. Which it obviously has because thats what its supposed to saved as...so...

Too many time sinks, I commend you on your efforts to avoid time sinks. But there were still many, gameplay was boring... well done but boring. Lack of other players led to me quitting after the first area, not a very dramatic game. Games are best in Multi-Player scenarios.

I love the map and the awsome things you can do...but one player sucks...two player sucks...it shoulda been like 4 players at least ...man that would be awsome....ya after the first stage I got bored of playing it by myself that I quit..Its a cool map with great things but its just not fun if u cant play it with others...

OMG! The terrain, and triggers, and everything! DO YOU SEE THE GHOST CITY!!! This is the greatest map to ever come to starcraft. It's right up there next to Chess.scx.

Man, I just looked at the triggering, has to be the most flawless triggering I've seen. You should make campaigns for Blizzard if they make Starcraft 2. tongue.gif

The first area is just a warmup. It really does get better in the next areas.


I tried the multiplayer route but gave up due to the enourmous trigger lag from the system. I'll try better with Ep.2, but I'm certain if it lags again I'd rather just focus on an intense single-player than waste time butchering my design to smuggle in other players.

I will try harder to get it multiplayer next time, though.

I loved to play this map, but was I the only one to understand that you have to stay on the road to survive? I find that kinda strange because it was so easy to understand. Or else just go grenade madness through it, hehe.

I just used a shotgun to tear up the DT's and Infesteds... works realy well and you can save time going off the path.
