How does darkness sink to the bottom of the ocean? That doesn't mean it's dense, it means that the high pressure water at the bottom of the ocean sucks in more darkness than it lets the sun take away.

Light: visible electromagnetic radiation. Think Roy G. Biv.

Note: Just because it's dark at night doesn't mean there is no light. There just isn't enough for our eyes to use to observe the surroundings.

Only ABSOLUTE darkness has no light. Anything greater than that has light, so therefore, darkness does have light.

If indeed, light bulbs absorbed darkness, then explain why it feels hot in the presence of the sun, which is a giant light bulb (You stated that light bulbs absorb darkness and nothing about emitting light. Not to mention, invisible "light" called Infrared Radiation is one of the causes of feeling hot in the presence of sunlight, which proves that light bulbs (at the level of the sun) emit light)?

Infared only can detect moving darkness, as it gets sucked up by a light bulb or other light source.

I was saying what an article that said your exact thing said. And you never responded to my pencil thing.

How does infrared detect moving darkness?

Could you show me where you said that? I wasn't aware I left an argument un argued.

And what we think is the light energy is actually the moving darkness.

Do people actually believe this?

No, but it's interesting what people come up with.

Believe it? I wouldn't believe this in a googol years. When you turn a light on, there is light. When you turn a light of, there isn't. It's like the fact the cold is actually just the absence of heat. mellow.gif

Well, cold IS the absence of heat...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Minority on 2006-09-29 at 20:29:13
But what if heat is the absence of cold?

(Sorry, I couldn't help myself)

I was about to say that... Global warming is only caused because the coldness is exiting through a hole in the ozone.

You can't suck in darkness. Darkness is nothing else but a lack of light waves. Light bulb emits light waves and objects reflect them, making themselves "visible". Your eye can only see those visible objects, but everything else is invisible or dark.

Just to add on the lightbulb theorys but human brainz are 85% water and use as much energy as a 10-watt bulb.

Does that mean our brain emits light? interested.gif

Precisely, they suck dark. Which is exactly why, if you opened someone's skull up you'd see darkness. All the dark sucked in through our ears is very dense.

Just because something uses the equivilent energy of a 10 watt light bulb does not mean it emits li... err... sucks darkness.

When they quit working and turn a dark color, it's not because they burnt out, it's because they're full.

Because the space within the light bulb is occupied by darkness, you can conclude that darkness is matter, and matter has mass.

lightbulb.gif If, indeed, light bulbs absorb darkness, why is there far more light within the light bulb rather than outside of the light bulb?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kow on 2006-09-30 at 11:39:53
Because it absorbs the darkness faster, 'cause it's closer. I thought we already went over this.

I was pointing out as someone mentioned above that your head is like a dark room. But if you open your mouth and if you ever watch surgeons put a camera in they see light because light is coming in not out. Or could it be vise versa.

Man SEN needs to rent a professer to answer all these questions and topics....

I'm sorry but there is no actual discussion other than people being ignorant. Everyone with basic physics knowledge knows what light is and how a lightbulb works. All those sucking darkness statements are just plain stupid. sleep.gif

If lightbulbs suck in darkness, then how come the darkness comes back when you turn off the light? And according to http://home.netcom.com/~rogermw/darksuck.txt, darkness has mass.
