A Post of Tuxlar Map Proportions. And yes its all caps because its a title! Omg!

One post to rule them all, possibly.
If you can't settle this like a mature human being through a private messenger, and instead require to attempt to humiliate me, so be it.
SEN had been my playground for learning web development and administration, I spent a good two years on it and I had a ton of fun doing it. The veterans old enough to remember these days can remember it as the best time. Traffic was flowing in, people were actually FINISHING maps, and individuals were flocking here to find out awesome new concepts found by our very own users. Topics with new concepts would quickly fill with hundreds of posts and quickly were distributed into several different maps like wild fire - it was a crazy fun time to do mapping.
Unfortunately I started to run into some personal problems in relationships and so on. There was a lot of unrest between people I knew and family members, and I had some issues with some of my high school teachers. Generally my school, friends and family became a top priority for me, but it required 100% of my time. I was unable to manage SEN and I scrambled for somebody to find to take it over - and IP was there at just the right moment.
At the time I had not considered how long it would take me to sort out all these issues. It was for the most part, a very irrational decision to hand over the site to a complete stranger, but not many people here are willing to pay for such a thing. Shutting down the website was out of the question - everyone was far too involved with innovating and the such that I felt it'd be a crime to rob people of this. I knew I might eventually return, and plus the fact that I was handing it over to a complete and utter stranger, I kept the domain as reassurance that I would be able to come back regardless if I had made a wrong choice to hand over the site to you.
Months passed, and I eventually had the time to go full time back into a website. I had not been checking SEN much at all - although I really wanted to. The problem is that when you create something like this and it becomes a success, you become addicted. I was addicted to the community and wanted to come back into the same community of individuals of which I had left. I made my return. My intention was to start paying for and running the site again (although IP thought for some reason that I was never going to return, although I dont think I said that), but IP had seemed to have grown attached to it too. I figured we could work on it as a team, and when I started earning money again I could help pay for hosting costs (as reliable as the server is).
But wait, I didn't return to the SEN I had left at all. It was filled with flaming, spamming, rudeness and people being jerks. Add that with traffic being at an all time low, and you have yourself a disaster to what I remember it as. I thought I could fix it and get SEN the way it was before, but I just couldn't. Literally EVERYBODY was doing it. Why? Lack of administration and moderation. It's not a matter of "pressing a few buttons to suspend someone", theres a lot of community involved. I tried to be friends with and respected everyone in the community, in return they showed the same respect. Apparently I thought that the new administration would try to run it similar to what I did, especially the big fuss I always made about "communities with non existent administrators except when theres a problem". All that work I had put into raising the community was all for nothing.
I used to say the line "if you don't like it leave" to people who were ticked about moderator actions that I took that were completely valid and so on. When I came back, people were saying that to each other for SUGGESTING PERFECTLY VALID THINGS FOR THE SITE. I tried to get a group programming project going with SEN v5, but unfortunately IP would literally destroying the system on a daily basis not taking into consideration that there was me trying to program it too. I got frustrated with v5 and the rudeness of people at SEN. A community that was once known for being helpful and resourceful had fallen into darkness. I gave up, but I was still motivated to program something big, thus the creation of Latova.
Right now, it is even worse then ever. I have people like ip, moose, and cheeze all angry at me. There was a time I would have friendly chats and games with cheeze, and talks with moose but unfortunately that is impossible now because they now both hate my ideals and now me. SEN v5 is a joke. There are about 10 forum games and an undeveloped maps section and a billion other useless features that will be underused. SEN's problem was its complexity which I tried to stress but you just made it 10 times worse. When I left I warned both you and moose that I was the only one looking up invision software vulnerabilities and patching them as they came out (since invision doesn't release patches anymore). You both completely ignored me and instead left it alone until someone thought it was funny enough to use some SQL injections. Then for some random reason you ban devilesk (what kind of script kiddy would SIGN their name???). I have watched people around be become disgusted to what this site has become, and also become affected by it.
You want the domain? SEN died a long time ago. It was my mistake for ever letting it go in the first place, not to mention to pass the power onto somebody like you who I didn't know to well. I blame myself for leaving it in the first place, and you for letting it become what it is now. The entire reason I HAVEN'T killed the site is because for some idiotic reason I still respect the fact that you did some stuff here and the fact that this is still a repository for map making information. I can only imagine what horrors you'd do to the site if the domain wasn't mine and you were free to do whatever you want with the battleship called SEN.
I would sooner let the site die then hand it over. If the site dies, thats okay. Another one is coming from people who actually want to make maps. The data is so corrupted on here anyway and you've made NO effort to get it all back up its a wonder why people are still even here. Maybe its because you hold the sole monopoly of starcraft map making sites, but that wont be the case anymore.

At the dawn of SEN......Or rather very far into SENs life.....
Yoshi had long been gone and IP reigned supreme.....
But then...
IP Invaded trying to take the land for himself! In a russian tactic Yoshi had the option of a burn down the town retreat or a straight on suicidal fight.....
The SEN Soap Opera continues...

ADDITION:
Yoshi, i respect your decision, and i believe that you are right in this instance, for as much as a matter of right and wrong is worth. If SEN dies, i for one will not blame you.
If IP refuses to keep paying, i might even do it.
-Ex
Yet you block me on IM when I do talk to you.
You do realize that if affects everyone on SEN, therefore, I wanted everyone to know what might happen. There's no reason why you couldn't IM me about it.

Actually IP, you made that first move, you chose which direction this was to be taken in. Yoshi just responded. Though i am glad it was discussed here for all to see.

My advice to everyone is... grab anything you're going to want from the DLDB, tutorials, etc, really fast.
Anyone know what SENs hosting costs? I might be able to cover it starting around october.
-Ex
Actually, I talked to him about the domain just the other day. His response was "I would never give it to you." I'm sure it wasn't going to change. So this "you should have talked to me over IM" thing is bullcrap.
Humiliate you? Uh... no.

What a freaking joke.
IP what does it cost to run sen?
It continues: The Sen Soap Opera

superstition taking all of us for a ride,
bombs overtaken by the signs of the right,
the bombs are falling overhead with no sight,
while you were talking all detached, so tell us,
where you going,
to the bottom,
do you hear us,
we are rotting?...
we're going down,
in a spiral to the ground,
no one, no one's gonna save us now,
not even god, no one saved us,
no one's gonna save us now....
where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall?
where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall?
where do you expect them to go when the bombs fall?
where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall?
Moose this is probobly the only time i will ever say, as a poet myself, that this is not the time for insipiring writing. Im sorry.
Now IP tell me what it costs to host SEN!
-Ex
We go where the bombs don't fall!
Dont fight and dont think of closing this site, if that were to happen im sure that it would truely dent starcraft and many of us, I joined staredit.net right before Yoshi left i remember him as a nice person who would go out of his way to help someone, he has respect for others and that is what is missing with not only people here but everywhere now its a personal choice to make to be the better person but i highly recomend to be the better person and not fight it is better to get along than it is to fight it is better to be happy then mad.

I have made the mistake of making a 2nd account. I am sincerely sorry and I don't want to get banned. What should I do? I originally made this account because I had negative participation, many less posts after the hacker awhile back, and that I had lost my password temporarily. This is xMCx by the way. I am sorry for causing the greif. Do you want me to change back to my other account or should I keep this one? I really have a passion to stay at SEN, so I would love not to be banned. Also, I kind assumed it was ok since many people had multiple accounted since the hacker struck. Plus, it was kind of a securtiy reason. If you agree to let me keep this account, please transfer my 20% warn by Doodan for "spam".
WTF! Sorry man.
I have copied everything I good possibly need from SEN except for Feebacka and Assistance Forum! The rest is in my head.
If its less then 50 a month ill pay it. Stop panicing.

I'm a bit upset that I came to SEN in it's downfall...
If Yoshi thinks SEN is in such crap, why not try to start it all over again ? (Sorry if I missed your point and asking that stupid question). What can really be done to save the community ?
Yes, and thats what he looks like, nothing funny about that.

SEN isnt going to die. Seriously. Its a website domain, it doesnt cost much and i can handel it. Alot of others are willing to handel it too. SEN will not fall. IP is confused thinking hes the only one willing to work and support SEN.
-Ex
Well? Is no one going to tell me how much SEN costs to host? Anyway Op SEN for all of us that are up and care for whats going on!
