Yes, let's not return to how it was. Guys, this is a wonderful opportunity to make SEN exactly how we want to make it. Tux made a very insightful point that Blizzard has largely ignored StarCraft for many years, and the community as a whole is at a threshold where its community is in decline. I'm not saying that SEN is condemned or anything of the sort, but I believe we must adapt.
If we focus solely on StarCraft, SEN will inevitably never regain its prominence.
I suggest we start to become open to new ideas, new games.

Treason of the highest form. This is STAREDIT.net. The only other game id openly accept as an add-on to SEN would be WCIII.

I suggest I pull out my big old sword and drop some heads... all in favor, say die...
Everyone steal my avatar! And some one bring moose his mighty weapon!

I agree with Felagund a bit. Whether it's SC2, or something else, it will be increasingly hard to maintain a large community of map makers:(
Die!
I'm starting to play Starcraft again and I might start making maps again.
Taking one a new game is out of the question at this point...
And even if we did, it wouldn't fix the starcraft sector of this site. It's not about being "large".
I say we jsut focus on Starcraft Map and Mod making.
No, I don't want to become huge. But I don't want to have only a few mappers on here either and have everyone else come here for idle chit chat. I think we should honestly begin to seriously look at expanding to WarCraft III.
You see, the heart of this site has never been StarCraft. The heart of this site has been the free, open, and willing exchange of mapping techniques, new ideas, and creativity in general.
how does WC3 related to staredit? the only way i could see it making any sense is having a sister site
Boooya Moogle has moderation powers again . . time to own useless topics!
If you just look at how SEN has "progressed" in recent times, I don't believe that StarCraft is enough to bind this community together. Mapping just isn't what it used to be because there just isn't the StarCraft community that there used to be. I know it's not pleasing to talk and think about, but SEN won't be able to survive on StarCraft forever.

I am sure there are some Warcraft 3 sites that have high quality. I would prefer not to intermingle to complete different games.

All that are specefic to Starcraft.
Yay for Moogle!
*Cloud throws Moogle a Kupo nut
Took you long enough. Troublemakers, beware! Congratulations, DTBK, and I advise making a special category of people on par with Tutorial keepers and such responsible for banning
.
Nice job, those were great moves on hirings. Tux and DTBK should do a great job. I'm available if you need any help.

Moogle is now moderating various forums in the Generic StarCraft Editing forum. If you get his way, you'd better have a lot of Kupo nuts or he'll break your face.
Or you could always be his friend or be in his clan(s).
Moogle is a great choice as well.
I Am extremely scared that DTBK is a Admin..(DTBK Hates me)
DTBK is one of the most active members on this site. He also runs it with an iron fist. He will scare away all those who shouldn't be here.
Moogle is a great friend. He has always been mature since I've known him.
Then don't do anything wrong...
Finally! Moogle gets to be a moderator of some of these crazy forums.
WOOT!! go mooseycakes!
GJ DTBK, Moogle way to go, CheeZe deserves his spot, and the same for Tuxedo Templar.

Six Download Database Keepers is pawnage. Everyone submit the best files you have.
Yeah, too bad that's the next area for downsizing. Some of them don't do crap, and it's time they're held accountable for it.
