BWProgrammers.com

PP is now a part of BWL, any versions of PP you have without BWL are old, and probably will not work.

Yea and if u wanna play on PGTour, or most of the ladders you'll need Starcraft Extension (aka Penguin Plug) to play on it, prevents hackers.

PGTour is down. WGTour is taking forever to get up. And UGTour doesn't require anything.

BWL is the same thing, only better.

Deleted PP, but it still won't let me on. Shall I delete my mods too, or should I run that application again? The one that removes the virus that was supposed to happen?

I personally wouldn't trust that thing. It seems to me like a virus all it's own.

I don't know what you've installed, so it's hard for me to help you. Files seperate from what you got when you first installed SC should be fine, but anything that actually changes a file SC needs to run, will result in that error. I think the old PP used to do that, which is why you need BWL's update. Any changes to battle.net skins also modify the original files, and you'll need to delete them and find the old ones for it to run properly.

The quick and easy way is to just back up your maps, and reinstall. It takes what, one minute to install SC these days? Maybe three to download the patch from Blizzard.com? If you're worried about all things you've downloaded over the years in the SC folder, don't be. They're probably what's causing the problem.

I've got over 2000 maps and it's going to take 15 minutes to archive it in a .rar.

Atleast I've got some time to go and find my SC Key.

CTRL-X into a new folder. It takes two seconds.

It works now. I deleted my entire SC folder. Now it's time to replace all my map.

So, the latest version of BWLauncher works with bnet? Where can I get it?

I did some digging on the issue at Battle.Net Open Tech Support and came across this topic:

http://www.battle.net/forums/thread.aspx?f...p=1&#post461969

Apparently, it seems that some sort of trojan that came as a result of using 3rd party programs activated on November 1st and modifies the StarCraft EXE, making it unidentifiable by Battle.Net. Here's the fix:

it does work but it seems very suspicious. My suggestion is to download it, let it fix your launcher then delete it.
