What do you guys think about all the threats the Iran makes if anyone attempts to intervene in their Nuclear program?

Example: Iran threatens to shut off all oil imports to USA.

The US should secretly be developing alternative fuel sources enough so that if Iran shuts off oil to us, we can just laugh at them.

Iran is developing nuclear weapons as a deterrent, not an offensive weapon. Countries that actually have nuclear weapons are very unlikely to be invaded. An Iran with nuclear weapons would stabilize the middle east, as Israel has nuclear weapons and none of its enemies do. With Iran having nuclear weapons, the middle east would eventually stabilize into a stalemate.

I really could careless if Iran had a whole nuclear arsenol. Not because I believe that nuclear weapons are good or whatever but because I believe in perhaps 50-100 years something will go terribly wrong and nuclear war will start and the humaqn race will be die. All it takes is 1 idiot to make 500 other countries become idiots. Yes, I don't have much faith in countries, but I do have faith in humanity if that makes any sense.

Besides that, if I was in Iran's position I'd try to create nuclear weapons. Why? Because the America invaded Iraq and I wouldn't want to be next. Iran probably just wants to stay in control of itself and use its weapons as a deterent although I can't say that with absolute certainty but who really can even for America?

Your complaining about Iran's army size? Our army is like bigger than all of europe's combined.

Err... Iran's Army size is probably 5 times larger than the United State's army. Also, the US isn't invading North Korea because it says it has Nuclear Weapons.

America's army does not need to be huge, we have the tech and are developing the tech which replaces the jobs of (such as) 10 men to 1.

Right now our army needs to be large becuase we are fighting multiple wars, but in theory we could get along fine in 1 war with less men.

Iran has alot of troops, but the United States could easily beat the country with a draft. Also, America has far better technology.

Israel is in much bigger threat then the US or any other European country, since the Arabics do have the unofficial 'alliance' against us, and this is the one thing that they will always do together depsite the fact that there are also fights between themeselves. And there is also the factor of Range, which physically it is clear that we are the closest target for them.
Although Israel is NOT signed for the convention of not using nuclear weapon by the UN, I doubt we will pick that over few bombers.

Also Iran's army maybe big, but not as skilled, loyaled, or supplied as the American Army or the IDF (Israel Defence Force). I also bet that there are tons of potential rebelions in Iran, waiting for a chance to bring down the dictator.
