I don't really see any features that windows XP doesn't have that I'd want...
So ya, there's no way I'm buying vista.

MS isn't going to fall dramatically. They may even release another OS after Vista. But they're on the downswing now.

Microsoft is planning on releasing another one in a year or two I believe. They promised never a 5 year wait like that again.
