I have a AOL 14.4k connection. My mommy says its faster than anything else in the world!

how dare you mock all us kids with dial up! tongue.gif

actually, right now I'm using my dad's computer, which is dsl or something. It's happy biggrin.gif

otherwise I'd be using 56k, which never gets higher than like 49.2, and even the dl rate is like 5kbps. I HATE IT

Not only do i have dial up, its AOL. So i get access half the internet, very slowly. But Aol is the only thing that there is to get where i live, so its this or nothing :/
Also i have a old and slow computer and to stay connected i have to have the aol program thingy open, and it sucks resources. Aol is pretty much crap all around.

I did that for DSL. HEHE smile.gif

anyway my DSL sucks only 312kb/sec and the modem says 800kb/sec to 1.5mb/sec.
The DSL in my area sucks. It spends like 600kb/sec only on keeping connected since the DSL thing provider is so far away.

If Yoshi had AOL, this site wouldn't exist.

I have dsl.

I heard a T5 connection has a transfer rate of about 1gb/second(Yes that's a "G").

t5???? damn... i thought t1 was like the best
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BeeR_KeG on 2004-08-13 at 22:42:41
I heard that T3 was like 500mbps but T5 is 1gbps thats insane. No file on internet is that big(i think)

The Alpha or the Beta?

Was it a trailer of some sort?

No, I downloaded the World of Warcraft Alpha and can do whatever. It's only good for like looking at the world itself and moving around and stuff. You can't do much in it. It has all the sounds, models, and everything else. I got it before the beta came out anyway.
