I will look for a way on the internet cause I know that you can unpack all the files for doom 3 as zips and take out individual things from there.

Could be on main website Baal, sometimes makers leave some on der sites incase of people want the sounds or something. Worth a try can't hurt.

Tried main website none there. I'll just do the unpacking thing with the files and look for the sounds from there.

I dont think sounds be like normal format mp3/wave i think be in different type format to keep it much smaller in compacted. These days alot companys using different format styles for music like blizzard did with mpq's and my Blood 2 used a sty music format.

Me and mog just played your map and found a few bugs. When we change weapons one person ends up disappearing and then the other can get 2 punches. There is a easy way so they spawn in the same spot.

Conditions:
Current Player Commands At Least 1 Men
Current Player Brings At Most 0 Men To Location(The one thats over the dudes)
Current Player Brings At Least 1 Men To The Entire Level Area

Actions:
Center Location Labelled Location On Men At Entire Level Area
Preserve Trigger

using that you will always show up in the same spot instead of the center of the map.

Use dropship system for switching weapons, it's better. I managed to kill two marines but the third one killed me. Seems a little too hard for me.

I think my doom map is better off as 1 player and its easy i find my map way to easy to beat

As the creator of a map you know all the little tricks you can pull off and it makes the map fairly easier >< Cheesy playing own maps and knowing what to do. Anyway! I will hope to have a working demo of Doom³ working by days end and since I gotta work all next week >> The demo will go up until you escape the first part of the invasion.

Heres the first screenshot of Doom³. This is just the little opening with the Bio Scanner and you can talk to the Civs that are chilling around.

You know to mimic the flashlight (though you'd need some kind of 'person' unit), would be to blind the unit you walk around with and all other units you have, but have an observer above your character when the flashlight is on.

Of course, that would slow down the unit walking...

no you could have a location centered on you blinded person and have the observer move,teleported, to your person constantly so it goes at the speed of your person happy.gif

I really don't wanna make a person perma blinded though it is a good idea. The thing is with the observer idea they would be able to see alot more of the terrain. I will hopefully figure out a way to make a nice lighting effect to give the map a more Doom³ feel to it. So far I am almost to the place where you get your weapons happy.gif Playable demo should be ripped and ready to go tonight or by Monday Morning.

how bout instead of an observer have like a computer ally with a burrowed ling right under you that moves and you can have it share and unshare vision :\

Thats what I was thinking but the way I wanna run the HP system won't allow that and plus I can't blind every unit also cause of the HP system I am using.

Do you have to create the units everytime?

Because you could set aside an area in the map where they would all blinded at the beginning of the game.

Well the system I am using when your unit dies it respawns in the same spot and you lose a certain amount of HP depending on the amount of amor you have. So I can't really blind them everytime. Plus then to see they would always need the flashlight on and you wouldn't been allowed to use other weapons which is no fun.
