Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Permanently Burrowed Lurker

nyczdigga you evidently have no idea whats going on here. Yes, the unit will be teleported below the raynor (or w/e).

The raynor will be hit by splash. A computer player controlled lurker can unburrow no matter what you do with the settings of burrow. They are unaffected and can unburrow no matter what, and will unburrow when not attacked in multiple instances as well. Though I may be wrong, I believe that the only way to have it not be able to unburrow as to do as said earlier and have it owned by the player, but it will have to be a unit that is created burrowed or preplaced.

I make a sample of myself, it seems when the lurker is burrow and unable to unburrow, it cant moveunit or order move.

I'm pretty sure you start the lurker with a player/computer with burrowed researched, then give it to a player with burrowed disabled.

Yes thats correct.

I'm not sure why this topic has gone on so long.

Lurker splash only hits non-same player units... I think. I just did something awesome with my map with this. Shelob (a lurker) is owned by P5. But I didn't want to hastle around with the whole burrowing shibang so I created another Shelob for P6, who is allied to P5. The P6 Shelob is burrowed, and burrowing is disabled (Originally P8 but given to P6). Everyone is visioned so I made the P5 lurker invincible (after testing proved that splash would hit P5 lurker) and made the P6 lurker vulnerable. If the P6 lurker dies, so does the P5.

Now this might not be hardest thing to implement, but it certainly is cooler than having a normal lurker. Perhaps you could have the burrowed lurker be vulnerable and the hero invulnerable while you the lurker, and once the lurker dies the hero is vulnerable (or something). Bah! I was thinking about my stuff. No, instead just have in invulnerable lurker owned by the same player (as long as it's non-lurker itself). I had to do mine that way because it ummm how else would you center location on a lurker owned by P5 and have them move if they kept on moving to that location? The P5 lurker leads, the P6 lurker follows.

i always thought that if u disabled burrow for the player who owns the lurker cant burrow or for this matter, unburrow, so when u create the lurker, hes gunna be burrowed, and burrowing is disabled, so he cant unburrow?

im not totally sure, but i think im right, as usual.
please dont yell at me if im wrong, my mom does that enuf cry.gif
