""BTW, there Is a possibility of a map, where player can put units ->anywhere<- and they won't be able to move, because the tiles of the map are partally-unwalkable (unwalkable boundary) (tiles with 1 side unwalkable - top, bottom, left or right EXIST, with 2 - I don't know)""
There are tiles like that, trouble is only the small units (marine, Zergling) can stand in them because it basically takes the bottom 1/4 of the tile away so it is not very tall.
ok we have all the answers he needs, 1x1 land square with highground around him, or just hyper trigger the locations, all im reading is the same stuff over again

i have an idea
have a trigger big enough just for that unit like however size its supposed to be
then tell it to oreder attack on location its alreay on that way it will be attacking but also staying there ..........i think with hypertriggers and preserve it of course

Hypertriggerred orders lead to a unit sort of jerking around crazily; it won't attack until it stops being ordered.

walkable/unwalkable and a shuttle to drop units on the squares
doesnt rly go with the tower defence thingy...
He wants to make them for maps as defense. Isolated untis can't see and require a pointlessly large amount of space. It is all just impractical.
i've seen this done in changling, (some vers have it sum done), where you can transform into a firebat and it stays still but when enemy steps by you, you start attacking... i think that can be done by... (i think) Disabling the unit, then re-enabling it twice... sum units though can crash, you should check the tutorial on cloaking units to see what unit does what when cloaked....
Only problem with disabling enabling twice is it'll crash 30% of time, to stop crash give it to computer first, then give it to person. I thnik if you don't order it to move before moving it,. it may not mvoe, or it'll crash, I dunno.
Or, you can disable normal tanks, they'll attack but not move (you can't choose target, just attacks enemies) but then you get a normal takn that can attack but not move, a hero tkan that can attack and not move, and two siege tanks, but the two normal tanks will be cloaked. I would try the disable double enable thing w/o making the unit move (order, still do teleport) and hope it doesn't crash. They will be cloaked, but they may not move if you're lucky.
Have a location under the unit. Have a trigger order the unit to patrol to that location.
