Mike, if you want a professional group to do it, and actual get results quickly send off a request when the site comes back online to the Voice Guild at http://www.samods.org/ they are the best in the world for Voices, and just give them some background on what you need it to sound like and they will do it for free and get it back as soon as possible. Any maps you've ever played at CampaginCreations with Voice's was done by them...

Nifty. What was the wav file limit in a map again? 64? Can't remember. If so, I don't see why I couldn't (try to) get voices for A&O also. That'd kick ultimate arse.

Need a good voice? Call me. smile.gif

I got a mic, a nice little program. I'll do whatever ya need, except little girly screams of course. wink.gif I'm usually around here once in a while, but if I'm not, shoot me an e-mail. (StardogProd@Netscape.net) I'd love to help, the Matrix thing looks awesome.

Well hmmm sounds cool. Even without voices just doing the thing where random units like a rine will talk to ur unit like in real games is still cool. I hope you understand wat i mean lol.

If a unit isn't at the location after a few seconds, it means it moved. Play footstep sounds. Always cetner the location on the players unit.

I totally agree. Let the community contribute! Not just a select few, or the "in crowd." Of course, he has the option to deny certain voice actors because they are not what he seeks in his Matrix thing.

I'm pretty sure he's doing that, though I won't be one to say positively. It's like when you right-click on an area, your marine says "Go Go Go!" right? That would be required through modding, and the Matrix is a mod.

For the sound to know when you are walking it would need to be slow to react to movements. Therefore it would not use Hyper Triggers, or if so have a Wait or similar effect to slow down how often it checked! Likely it will just stop playing a moment after the unit stops, a little time off!

Hes a dinosaur silly. All dinosaurs had sniper rifles, and they would shoot humans like you for fun.

You obviously have never met a pissed off Dragon then have you! It works with their hand-eye coordination, which is impressive anyhow!

I also believe that having the players voice act instead of SAVAGE will help increase popularity. Maybe not by much, but it will.

"Hey dude!"
"yeah?"
"Ever heard of The Matrix thing for Starcraft?"
"No, why?"
"Well, guess what?!"
"What."
"I voice acted in it!"
"Cool."
"It's awesome! Go check it out at www.yoshidasniperisawesome.com!"
"Is that a legimate link?"

So on and so forth...

Then that friend might pass it on to someone else, who may pass it on to someone else, who...

I havent tested this but lemme know if it works...

Yes, that should work because it won't keep itself centred on him when he starts to move, but as soon as he moved a little bit it will re-centre and play the sound.

The triggers should have worked, open the map yourself and remove the hyper triggers then try it, it should work better then!

Don't know if anyone has replied to this yet but I made a map with more than 300 wavs. (yoshi has it)

There isn't a limit, or if there is it very high and your unlikely to ever reach it! It isn't fixed with the Strings till it is used, or on entry into the map? Else then you've got a problem!
