Well usually when you shake head its a bad thing. I wasn't referring to that I was refereing to calling me a noob no need for it 'cause we know that I am otherwise I wouldn't have asked for the help.

Battlekruser, if you meant what I think, then you got it backwards.
Create with properties allows the broodling to die.
Create broodling doesn't.
... ... ... ... .... .... ..... I think...

Umm... anyways!
Well, I'm too lazy to think it out completely right now, but perhaps you could use a trigger that creates a unit in a closed area, and someone else can start with that to explain better I think, supposing you're still having a problem with the Ling thing...
I'm not paying attention well now...

Don't create with Properties, just create 1 and it will live till it is killed and such, otherwise it will slowly die! If preplaced they will also die!

actually, creating one with no properties doesnt die
duh
with properties = death
why dont u test it cuz ive seen it in map tips and tricks

for the map, use my trigger for every player for his/her unit
like u want red to die and get a unit spawned at the "Revive" place correct?
well change my trigger from all Current Player to p1 and make it
sufferes death of "unit x"
create "revived unit" at "revive"
set deaths of "unit x"

make sure unit x and unit x are the same

I got one of the two to work. I still don't get the broodling thing. Thank on death and revived.

This is what I put for condition and action
Condition:
Player 5 kills and Razings score is at least 100000
Actions:
Create 1 Broodling at kais for Player 5
It still dies when the energy goes down to 0.

http://www.staredit.net/index.php?pg=maptricks
maybe blizzard changed it?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by OriginalG. on 2004-09-02 at 13:43:42
This is what happens, the Broodling starts out with 0 energy then goes to 200 and starts loosing energy till he gets to 0 and then dies.

huh.gif
WTFAGE!
thats really weird... broodlings at 0 mana shouldnt get 200 mana...
do you have any triggers that add mana?
maybe blizzard decided to fix that glitch and make sure the broodling does die
Report, edit, etc...Posted by OriginalG. on 2004-09-02 at 15:45:43
Sorry it goes to 180 not 200.

No I dont have triggers that add mana.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by LegacyWeapon on 2004-09-02 at 15:51:57
did u change the broodling properties after you spawn it?
like make it invicible or something

cuz i tested this
Report, edit, etc...Posted by OriginalG. on 2004-09-02 at 18:43:32

It's fine you already helped enough, thank you.

I figured out why it goes from 0 to 180. Whenever I walk the broodling by heal center it resets its energy to 180 as well as its hit points. So it always worked, now I know why it didn't work before.

Just a point, but on some tilesets you can't create broodlings with 0 energy, with other tilesets you can. It's quite odd really.
