The only other one I like is the Normady map by Panzer_Kavalier...

Never played DoD so I wouldn't know.... sad.gif but so far this is shaping up to be a pretty good ww2 map smile.gif

Sounds like a Great WWII map.
The mapping community needs a good WW2 map and here it is.

I like the random startegy/mission thing. Makes it get less boring throughout time.

Maybe add some food factors.
Like every set of time you need to eat some food. It will add a realistic feature never used before in single unit maps.

The crstyal idea is sort of good. Only one of your friends has to be a medic and "fix" you. This would take like 6 seconds or something.

So far i splouged my self 5 times from reading all this blushing.gif

nope no release date as of yet... I work on maps and SC whenever school or girls permit smile.gif lol mainly weekends or late nights

Make a limit of how many med-kits you can hold. Um Crystal dont mean der dead just bad-wounded and if you dont get to player in time he'll or she'll end up dead in battle n big blue box comes up DEFEATED (poor bastards). Also make reload time, once player runs outta bullets ally enemy till reloaded. Make sure make it hyper alliance against enemys so cant force fire n kill soldiers.

Well its not historical im making up the town smile.gif also the reload, hyper allied and the badly wounded are all planned for this map. thx anyway moogle.

Will there be anything about Pearl Harbor in this map? Or what about the A-Bombs that were dropped on Japan? That would be cool, like have a whole bunch of nukers nuke Japan and it'll end the war.

A-Bomb me more like movie scene =/ wouldn't it? how about in one the series your company caught behind company lines you need take a check point to regroup your forces with the main one? or something like that. Are you going add paratroopers? Dropships playing over area n dropping off troops.

Yes thats a good idea moogle, about the paratroopers.. random events making the allies drop some paratroopers behind enemy lines smile.gif

If you were adding Paratroopers, can i suggest doing it like this.

1 Dropship comes from an area not seen by players across to its dropping point, and then this happens.

Conditions:
Always
Actions:
Centre Location 'Dropship' on Dropship Owned By Player Z at 'Anywhere'
Preserve Trigger

Conditions:
DropMe is Set
Custom Score is At Most X
Actions:
Add 1 to Custom Score
Create 1 Paratrooper at Dropship for Player Y
Preserve Trigger

Once it hits X, the number of paratroopers you want dropped it stops, and what you do is have a location that it aims for, and along that way the real point of drop with a location over it, and when the Dropship pases through the first location, it sets DropMe and this happens, make sure that along the line all units can be placed, that will make it look better! Even add the Dropship Dropping Units sound as well!

All ready planned the drop coming from a place not seen. and as it passes over the area (without stopping) the units drop out 1 at a time in a straight line.
