My crappiest map was my first one. It had a HUGE wav file, no briefing, no plot and it was basically a melee map with a big stupid song that didn't play properly.
The favourite one i did, was the set up to some campaigns i did, i just have units moving around really fast and some Jazz in the background, and mess around with the vision with random players, and that was it.
Some people thought it was the greatest trailer ever...

My first and worst map was a melee.
"Crystal Castles"(I didn't know there was already a melee by that name

).
There were 2 teams, each one started in a castle of minerals.
One of the casltes had lots of minerals in the walls, the other had lots of spaces and such for things like a lone Sieged Tank, except that it would be a cluster of Lone Siege Tanks... if that makes sense.

My worst map was "Wait Forever Bound"... I meant it to be a spoof on all of the "Bound" maps... but people thought it was supposed to be a real bound... Boy were they pissed...
You start with a Reaver, and you have to go through a regular "Bound" set of obstacles...

The crappiest mapI ever made was when I was a noob. Each player had minerals around their base with 5000 minerals and geysers with 5000 gas. The rest of thet map was cluttered with mineral fields that had 8 minerals each.
I once made a map where you were stuck in your base unless unless you mined the minerals in the way, but I wouldn't mine them. I'd leave them there so the enemy couldn't attack me (except for lings). It was cool when i was a noob because the AI got really confused and had the same set up everytime and was really bad and easy to beat.
I also made a map called SCV war of of the minerals and you had to use SCVS because it was filled with mineral patches, but they were all 0. You had to mine for 30 minutes to get to asomeones base and hope for the best.
I made a lot of newbie maps when I started playing SC.
Oh another crappy map I made was a melee.
It's meant to be a map where losing against the computer is impossible.
Why?
I used square terrain for bridges across some cliffs, and the Computer AI, either because it doesn't know it can go on the bridges, or because it needs mins right next to it(I don't use AI's much, and I hardly ever play Melee) just sits there doing nothing.
Can anyone say peon rush?
Oh and also there were a bunch of P12 controlled heroes for MCing
Hmm let's see... my crappiest maps was my first map which was a bound. I was so confused about how to make "flat" terrain like starforge so i just used an unportected map cleard of all units location and triggers. Then i used Xtra editor with the terrain sisn it is flat becasue it was used my SF. Well it turn out to be pretty good but it had a few glitches in it. It have about 19 lvls it was ok considering it was my first map... If i find it i'll attach it if you want...Hmm i notice i use "..." alot...

well it was when my brother still played starcraft, he was playing a marine wars map (without mass) and i thought that it would be neat to make one with mass. It was the stupidest map ever. the mass didnt even work, it teleported you across the map
