Well you can't use the minimap to place the beacons... you have to click the beacon, move the screen, hit the hotkey, place the beacon, and then to back to the beacons and select another one to shoot again.

Yeah you pretty much made the map, except the shots in my game are faster because they are trigger made. (and they can vary in speed)
And my shooting dosent work at all ._.;

well you can click somewhere int eh minimap while placing it
right click i think while u have the beacon placing selected

or select the beacon
click the minimap
then hotkey + set
You could of course just use Tuxedo Templar's method.

To pcfredz: Why would you need fog of war? It looks like from the mini map, that you are supposed to watch it, watch the incoming missle and zap it with one of your own missles. Maybe Kenoli can explain his intent more clearly, but it seems like my idea could work.

Ive got an idea.
I can have the shots belong to the player, and you recall them to kill them.
But recall has a small area of effect and also a delay. And also i would have to change all of my triggers to use P2 units.

Man, this problem blows...

This is your post that I responded to:

"Phyrion, let me give you an example of when that wouldn't work.

I've had an idea to make a Command & Conquer: Generals map, complete with the General Abilities--one of which is to spawn a few units at ANY location on the map. However, if you have Civilians everywhere on the map, it will render fog-of-war completely useless."

What else was in your post? You only mentioned two things, C&C and fog of war, one of those wasn't relevant. The other was and I commented on it.

ADDITION: Why not just make the missles owned by the player who is defending and have the head of the missle be a different unit than it's missle trail, if you recall the missle head it dies. Using hyper triggers issuing the move command the player won't be able to re-route the missle, you could probably slow it but if there is more than one missle coming at a time it would be impossible to tamper with happy.gif
