Halo 2 definitely.

As far as I can tell, GTA sucks.
I've seen people play GTA Vice City...
God, I still don't understand why someone would want to play a game because it has random killing for no reason, screwing prostitutes for health, running from cops, and stealing cars.

But running around killing religious freaks(people I generally despise anyways) that want to kill all human life(something I also despise, but I can pretend they're not humans) with an uber advanced AI stuck in your head(something I like the idea of) and bashing in the skulls of beforestated religious freaks(something I'd like to do to many, many people I despise) sounds fun! happy.gif

It's so obvious that you haven't even tried playing GTA: San Andreas, just using opinions that if the game before it sucks, then naturally this one sucks. It's more to random killing, prostitues and running from cops then you think. Obviously there is going to be stealing car if the game name is " GRAND THEFT AUTO "
Play the game for a week, then come back with your opinion before flaunting your prestigous opinion at us.

okay, i have some things to point out

1. i know for a fact that the Grand Theft Auto games are boring in the beginning
2. Halo 2 starts off right in the middle of when the covenant land on earth and right after where the first one left off, so you know there is going to be a lot of action in a very short time.
3. People are drawn in by the early parts of the game, if it is boring, they won't like it.

since most Grand Theft Auto games, are boring in the beginning, most people wouldn't like them and Halo has a lot of action very early

How do you know for a fact that all GTA games start off boring if you're attention span can't handle a 5 minute intro? Your arguements are weak, notice the word you use most, there has only been 3 good ones, I doubt you've even played more then 1 of them. A game could have the best gameplay, graphics, but if it has a crappy story, it isn't going to sell well in the single-player department. GTA isn't revolved around the story as much as Halo ( but it does have a very strong one ), it's about the unique "do anything you want" gameplay system.

You're so obvilous.

ive played:
Grand Theft Auto: 2
Grand Theft Auto: 3
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

and a little bit of San Andreas,

2, i beat, i liked parts of it, but didn't like how it was an overhead view,

3 i liked how they went into a 3D complete world, very fun to kill people in that one,

Vice City, was definatly my favorite, because i lived through the 90s and so far of the new mellenium, so i know whats happening, but Vice City was a new world to me, seeing as not a lot of people talk about they 80s, they talk about 60s and 70s,

Vice City had islands that weren't so incredibly huge and not claustriphobiacly small that it was intersting, that was the only one that drew me in the closest,

it in my opinion is better than San Andreas and is almost as good as Halo and for all of the GTA's you just go around completing missions and stealing cars, cause gang wars, thats why people play them,

the missions are a plus to do when you get bred of killing everyone, but Halo has great graphics, story, and gameplay, Vice City, has great gameplay and grapics, if it had a better story, it would probably be better than Halo,

and i never said i hate the great amounts of freedom in all of the Grand Theft Autos, i love it, there is nothing better, but if there was some way to create multiplayer, it would definatly be better than Halo, but Halo has some things that the Grand Theft Auto series doesn't thats why i don't like Grand Theft Auto as much

better arguement? thats a reply at the top of which i played, more than 1, and Halo has some things GTA doesnt, thats why it is better

I would buy Halo 2. I have played all of the GTA games before SA and Halo 1. I liked Halo 1 better, so I'll get Halo 2. Too bad I don't have an X-box. Halo was more fun to me than GTA 3 and Vice City. I prefer futuristic weaponry over modern weapons. Another reason why I like Halo better is because it has multiplayer. How is Halo 2 Special Edition different from Halo 2 regular, anyway?

it isn't from what i hear, all it is is a very fancy looking metal casing for the game, because it is such a huge deal

As I said, 'as far as I know'.
It was somewhat off topic, being as I was talking about GTA VC rather tan SA, the only information I have is what I've seen of VC, a picture, and the name, but:
A) I wasn't saying it's a worse game or anything, I was, err, unintentionally elongating my post... ya...
B) And I've never played Halo2, either, so I can't be sure it's fun... and the best I can do is guess. Exactly as I'm guessing, from VC and the name, that SA isn't the kind of game that I would like, personally(just the name Car Stealing Game puts me off...).

I already understand there's more to those games than what I said, yes, but I was pointing out the things that seem most to be what people around me like about it... and a few othetr things which I thought of saying but forgot a while ago.
