I'm mainly interested in getting the Nintendo DS because they're going to make Final Fantasy III (the never released one for US) on it. Other than that I really could stick to my Gameboy Advance SP.
I'm sure that getting it for one game sounds lame enough, and true it is. But after getting that one game, I'm fairly confident I'd find a few others I might spend time playing that will also be for Nintendo DS.

Personally, I think that Nintendo owns the portable area.
The battery life of PSP is just pathetic. 4-6 hours at the most

The GBA(Game Boy Advance) has SNES(Super Nintendo Entertainment System) graphics, look at it hard and carefully.
The DS(Dual Screen) has N64(Nintendo 64 bit) graphics, althought as an illusion and more advanced technology to create games, some could say that metroid and a few other games look slightly better. ex. FF8 looking better than anything else out for the PS1(PlayStation ONE)
The PSP(PlayStation Portable) is, you have to remember, MADE BY SONY! That means they are going to put all the crap they can into a small tiny little machine. I mean, have you guys even seen the new PS2(PlayStation TWO)!? Currently, the PSP has PS2 graphics, but it isnt finished yet and will be improved, however, even if it does stay at the PS2 graphics, looking on that small a screen, thats gonna fool you to be alot better like on the DS.
The PSP will also be like a mini-computer, able to download and play MP3's and such.

Actually the people at Nintendo said the sleep mode did not go into the system because they ran out of time to add it in... but why not turn off the machine?
Dang these things are hard to find, I looked at 5 stores and all of them are out... GRRR...

My friend is gettin one from that freedssite. Its like freeipods.com but ds lol! The deals are pretty sweet too. I think i'm a bit old for a handheld though...cept my ipod =D.
