Cuba's a vacation spot basically, besides, its not all that big and isn't a huge contributer in the world. I think a war is going to happen with US vs Pakastain, and US will try to stop it, and be brought in the middle of it.

Well, the fact that the Middle East is VERY unstable right now is not a good thing. It's just like the Balkans in WWI. One small match and the world explodes.

I place my bets on Korea...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2003-12-14 at 22:07:15
That's interesting, I bet the US would be able to take Korea even if they were backed by China this time around. Though who knows, it all depends on China.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2003-12-14 at 22:11:15
I didn't said it wouldn't be easy or not, I am just saying Korea actually deserves being attacked =P
Report, edit, etc...Posted by SpaceBoy2000 on 2003-12-14 at 22:33:05
You better hope it's not Korea. 'Cause then all hell would break loose in the form of another Wolrd War.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2003-12-15 at 02:05:50
It wouldn't escalate that high unless the US decided to attack China directly. And China would never attempt an attack on the US. They're smarter than that.

Well, the Middle East, one of the world's most volatile regions is/capable of creating another dictator... like Chu said, they look for a proclaimed "better" government. Such as Hitler, he promised the German people more land and would restore the position of the German society. Also, a constitution, bill of rights, etc.. for Iraqi people wouldn't make it American, but provide them with a more flexible and dynamic government, which in turn, provides people with more freedom on which they had lacked earlier.. North Korea on the other hand, withdrew from the Nuclear treaty and threatens Nuclear war if the Americans take drastic steps and invade or threaten to attack the N. Koreans... They also state that they are currently working on a new Dao missle which has a range of up to Alaska, furthermore, if given more time, they will have sufficient technology to aim for the U.S. mainland and other global places. The United States has provided pictures of North Korean nuclear plants and assembly lines for depleted uranium and other dangerous materials...

Therefore the US has a big choice to make.....Destroy Korea and dismantle nukes......Or wait and see what happens
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2003-12-15 at 15:26:30
They won't have to wait, I heard an interesting thing on TV; "if so much people hate Saddam for what he did, at least as much people on the other side of the world hate Bush for what he did". I just found it so real... Besides, Saddan doesn't mean the end of the war either...

This is kinda a hard thing to do because people might think USA is a potential nuclear threat since America has the most Nuclear weapons in stock.

Hehe, it's a good point. But I don't think that may happen now, well if we have another terrible president that is. smile.gif

Bush wasn't terrible. And the US would NEVER threaten any country like China or Russia directly. If a WW3 does happen, it will be by communist movement.

Not a comunist country. probably a theocracy.

Almost everyone hates the US now, nearly everyone is against them, I don't give the US alot more time until it gets taken over...
EDIT: But ya it is very very good he got captured and his rein of terror is almost over.and we are now tryign to locate nuclear silos.

They do dislike the United States because of the actions it takes to prevent possible assaults on the homeland or anywhere else in the world.. Yes, U.S. intervenes with practically every conflict, it is the global peace keeper.

I hate it talking sh*t about my own country. But Interfere is right, the US has the most powerful weapons at its' disposal. The US IS the most powerful country out of the whole entire World. The US is like the police of the world. And this is why some countries like Korea, don't trust the US. And if the US is allowed to have nuclear weapons, a fair an equal statement is that : Why can't Korea have nuclear weapons?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mini Moose 2707 on 2003-12-16 at 20:53:40
It's not like we ever use them anyway. The nukes of each country simply keeps them all in check. If one country uses them, the entire world is gone. Thus, nobody uses them. The problem with small countries having them is, they're so small (and underdeveloped) they have little to lose, so they have a greater chance of actually using them.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2003-12-16 at 22:02:27
Why shouldn't North Korea have them? Or South Korea?

North Korea because they are an enemy to the US. And as we established in WWI and WWII, the US is on the "good" side.

South Korea ... well, why would they want them? It's a waste of cash that they should be spent on more important things. Nukes costs big bucks to make and maintain.

Maybe because everyone learned not to trust USA...

I am still biased on the fact that USA "may" want all of this to be a huge joke, just to put people on their side... Saddam is probably still roaming out there...

well, that's possible i suppose...
I've learned not to trust other americans either -- or anyone else for that matter laugh.gif
