well... Terrans aren't a human race out to control everything, they arent human and they arent out to control everything. The Zerg weren't called the perfect race by the Xel Naga and they weren't created by them either.and that stupid slide at the top wont close unless you press the close button, you should make it close automatically.
It's the only place you get bad reviews because we hate braggers. making buildings through starforge doesn't mean you are a great map maker.
if you were better than everyone here Including bolt then you would be famous, which you are not. Anyone could have made a bunch of buildings with trees in a couple days.


ps:first you say your website is blizzard material, then you say it's good for a first time website. This WAS Yoshi's first time website you know.

your map is very nice and original but I think you forgot the space for the inside of the buildings.
The website got better but it still needs a couple improvements, such as the information on starcraft and a whole lot of more pics in the gallery your forums are too jumbled up and appear at the most random hyperlinks.

I can waste as much time as i want, IF THEY won't shut up about how good they are and crap, i usually have them a 1:1 ma making contest with a few judges, but no one has really ever considered to challenge me.

They were created by the Xel'Naga. They say it in the SC campaigns....

He's a good map maker. His RPG was fun to play, tough and fun. Just because he isn't famous doesn't mean he's a bad map maker. There are tons of good map makers, and they aren't all famous or anything. Most of the famous maps are pretty bad actually. You see 2 maps made by a good poular map maker in the Join screen, like something by Bolt or w/e, and the rest are made by people no-ones ever heard of, but those maps get played just as much. I just think people are being too critical....

And, yes, the Zerg were created by the Xel'naga.
The Xels were trying to create a 'perfect' species.
When they created the Protoss, they had purity form; but the Protoss were naturally arrogant, and the Xel'naga realized that they had failed.
So they went on to create the Zerg; Purity of Unity(or something).
Then the Zerg destroyed them, for the most part.

There was this great SC history thing on each race. I think it was on StarCraft.org, I'll have to find it. It talks about why the Protoss were arrogant and why the Zerg beat the crap out of the Xel'Naga and stuff.

Its in the sc manual =)

The site was just recently updated and is now far beyond anyone making personal webpages anywhere (Not including Blizzard). Period.
Not everyone shares the same opinion. Most people Bolt_Head, Tuxedo Templar, and SWW are some of the best mappers ever. That doesn't make them the 'Best. Period'. It jsut means that lots of people like them .
And, in that case, it's warranted; as in, they have reasons for liking them.

I feel that the next webpage layout I make for XeN will be the one that is Blizzard material. If that is the case, I will probably be working there some day. Anyway, take a look see!

If I were given a nickel for every map that's done square by square, I'd be rich.

The terrain for the map took a month. The map is 192x192, and I free-styled with the 1x1 square tool. Every building and road and land-mark is unique as if it were a real city. I terra-formed the entire thing manually. And I don't see anyone else showing me up with their maps or sites. So your words mean nothing.
Again, lots of maps are made with 1x1.
EVERY MAP I MAKE, I DO THE SAME WAY.

The reason I think that map is good is because I haven't been on SC in a LONG time and I haven't seen any other maps like that.. so please show me others and prove to me that its not hard to do.. Ah, I am not sure over the whole moderation part that exists on these forums (if there is any), but so far the only person that has had undeniabley the best moderation other than the the creator of the topic and his accomplices (sorry for spelling lol) has been EzDay2. He simplely argued tons of stuff in here.

I know that most of you get made at the mere fact that someone came here looking for suggestions and in return gets flammed for taking extreme pride in his work. Many of you showed your age by even giving into such a thing, and it is rediculous. Even if it may seem that a lot of you are acting like middle schoolers and really arn't, it may be you take the internet a bit too far. I am sorry if you do.

Tim is a very good graphic designer. He is one of the best I have ever seen, that has a lot of his work match up to Blizzard, even though many of you do NOT want to hear it. I am sorry for that, too.

About the whole "Oh my god, my map making skills is better than yours!", get over yourselves. Most of this is going off-topic and I understand all of you take pride in map making, just if you are ing about him being cocky, then you are only doing what he did to you. Its hippocritical to even bring up anything. All you could do is have enough respect for Staredit.net as to not post if it is not even constructive criticism. I am sure the moderators here at Staredit.net do not appreciate when topics become flame wars anymore than I do with my own website.

Again, his website is of course good. It did take skill, time and effort to make it and you people should give him credit for what he has done. I may look at the codeing and say "Well, that isn't anything new... I could of done something like that", but its that he used the knowledge before most people did. He used a lot of differnt aspects combined for his website, and I respect him greatly for it.

Also, Tim IS a good friend of mine. I know most of you will even get mad that I am posting, but I want to point out that I am not looking for a problem.

Tec, find my spelling errors.. if you cant evne figure out what the original word was from a typo.. Then maybe you should redo english from grades 1 and up then you can argue with the so called " big boys "
