Turn based... turns me off. That's why I dislike most RPG games.
FPS is actually my favorite type of gameplay... This type of game makes you feel like you are actually in the shoes of the main character. I'd prefer 3rd person, but you can see around corners. FPS's engage me more than any other game type. However, most games such as Unreal Tournament, Quake, Half-Life, etc. have little to no depth in their gameplay...
That's where the RTS comes in. This game make you think of new ways of completing objectives. This way you can decide if you want to play the game in new ways.

RTS, strategy is always nice to have in games.

RPg, Final Fantasy. Mostly becuase of Megaman, Zelda, and Final Fantasy. Capcom Nintendo and SquareEnix are probley my favorite companys out there
