If neither is what you do (Eww?) then dont vote...

Baths for me are to relax, or if you cant stand up (E.g. Sick, sprained ankle, etc).

ermm.gif I ONLY sweat at night.... huh.gif

I don't have time.
I need to use my morning time to get my lazy-ass completely awake.
I wake up around 4:00-6:30, usualy close to 5:30-6:00, and then just lay around until about 7:10 , because I leave at 7:19.
If I don't have my hour or so of laying down, I'm too tired.

"Why would anybody want to take a bath. You just float around in your own filth."
A: It's better than nothing
B: Some people find it extremely relaxing
C: It uses less water then showers, generally
D: It's quicker[EDIT: well... can be, I suppose...]

"If neither is what you do (Eww?) then dont vote..."

I take baths, the water heater a t my house isnt that great and since the shower is closer to it it is warmer, also because its faster and you dont see hairs floating on top of the water...

Back in my day we went down to the river, and we were lucky we had that. One warm summer it dried up and we had to walk thirty miles to the next one. But once we invented sponges we stored up all our extra water and jumped in. Long story short is a phrase whose origins are comlicated and rambling.

Back in the day, what are you? 300 years old?

One of these days I'm going to have to take a sip of my guitar and go down to the nearest river to bathe.

The 'neither' option and the others you added spawn stupid votes. If it doesnt apply to you, then dont vote!

Actually, showers use more. Most showers pump out almost exactly the same amount of water per second. It only takes a couple minutes to fill up your bathtub with water but it takes more than a couple minutes to actually finish your showering

It depends on how long you take. If you take like 15 minutes (Like me in the mornings biggrin.gif ) It might, but if you take like 2-3 minutes (Like me in the afternoons) then no, it doesn't.

Also, I find showers more relaxing. A bath, you get to sit your lazy ass down in a pool of hot water. Yay, a hot tub.
I have a high-Pressure shower, so it's like a freaking hot uber message. It rocks.

Well, time to pull an everybody else :/
BUT TAKING A BATH MAKES YOU SIT IN YOUR OWN FILTH yawn.gif

neither

I can't afford in-door plumbing, so I have to wait for it to rain, but it's winter, so I get all frozen alot. It really sucks. I have to use cardboard tubes to get water to my house, but they get wet, and fall apart, so I'm screwed.
Also, you don't NEED a shower every day. You really only have to wash the main areas: face, arm pits, bung-hole.

Bath in the evening. The shower cubicle stinks of crap and nobody uses it because sewage from the toilets gets sucked back up the shower's drain.

The previous owner of our house was an idiot. disgust.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by notnuclearrabbit on 2005-01-09 at 14:40:30
That's not a previous owner problem, that's a builder/plumber problem. You'll either need to re-do the soil stack in your house, or try rooting it out first.

Shower in the morning. A nice cold one, otherwise I'd fall asleeps in class even more than I do now biggrin.gif

Wouldn't a warm shower wake you up better? Since cold water will contract blood vessels making blood flow slower, keeping you in a dormant state. Not to mention your body will expend energy to return your body temperature to normal after you get out. Or maybe, the change in temperature stimulates brain activity, and that's enough to wake you up.

You know too much! (I want to know that much)

It wakes you up, because it's cold. Period
