some hick town is North Carolina where I'm the only non-hick and I don't like it 'cause I live 10 miles from the nearest town and have no neighbors and only time I get to leave house is when I go to school and other than that maybe go to town once in 3 months.

Maryland fits that. We get hardly any hurricanes, and if we do, they dont impact us much (Except for ones that miss florida). No earthquakes, no tornadoes (Well, on occasion... but that was like once). We dont get much snow, gets pretty hot during summer. Overall it's nice.
