ok I tried to use logic backed up by sources of facts, but it seems like yall's reasoning hinges on your emotions, so here an illogical, but emotional way to look at it:
If a mother doesn't want to bring someone into this world by means of HER body then should she be forced to or prevented from taking action?
Me: "omg my girlfriend got me pregnant!"
someone who makes alot off money: "Sux to be you"
Me: "I am going to abort this fetus before it becomes a baby"
$man: "nuh uh"
Me: "are you saying I have to?"
$man: "uh huh"
Me: "wtf!"
QUOTE
Yeah, now thats some argumentation, you just simply call someone a "nuthouse" for no reason, and that's it, that means it must be...
You asked for proof about souls and afterlife, i told you these phenomenons i know. Sure they are not the best proof, but atleast i tried, and if u wanted to deny them, you could give some proof, facts or theories or anything u've heard of too, but u just say those ppl are dumb, i mean how can we discuss like that, if u simply call everything u don't believe dumb?
Nice job completely avoiding my other argument which was in the same exact sentence, the fact that
EVP has nothing to do with religion, and therefore you cannot use it as reference to "souls". But, I'll humor you, the reason I called them nuthouses is because
they have a cult that takes pictures that vaguely resemble smily faces and call them spirits. That is nuthouse enough for me. This is not proof, proof is statistics, proof is numbers. Proof is not that stain that sort of looks like my grandmother. I don't need to give proof against something that doesn't have any proof of existing in the first place. "Hey for all I know there are invisible mushrooms that speak to you at night, they left this sort of musty smell in my room so I know they exist!"
We can never allow cloning to exist in the real world.
Think about it...clone babys
I would just hurl then into walls. It doesnt matter, they're clones.
Thats a world no one wants to live in.

ur my hero!
yeh evp is a total peice of crap disproved a long time ago by the Skeptic magazine(teh secs!). To sum it up, they took a survey to find how many people really hear words in the audio. they expected 10% of the hundred people to shoot in the dark and match what they heard with what the suppliers of the evp heard. guess what NONE the survey heard what the evp experts heard. You know why? suggestion. the evp nutjobs always tell you what the 'spirit' says before they play it for you. This impacts your mind in a way that you 'look' for the word they gave you in the static.
gg evp
3v3 would increase the chance that it would be a laggy game, and no one likes a laggy game. I think it should stay as a 2v2 tourny

i mean we already have the teams made too

it was an attack against America and what we stand for.
When you say what we stand for, you mean:
State-sponsored terrorism
Facism
Blind Patriotism
Genocides
Oppressive embargos
Bombing of any country that doesn't agree with us
Killing and taking land
Forcing china/japan to open their ports by scaring them with our fleets
overthrowing democratically elected governments
Oh those are great qualities. No wonder that attacked us.
You still haven't responded to me calling you a fake christian. Truth hurt?

Thats not the idea, think about it more.
How about no. Either you explain or don't tell us what to do. If I "thought", it would only help my own point; I want to see your reasoning.
It deeply saddens me when I see people argue over a tragedy. No, we shouldn't stop for all the lives lost, but that doesn't mean we just brush the event off our shoulder.
Why should we be saying "America had it coming" or that America deserved it? It's like saying that since your neighbor killed three people, you should be killed as well since you're in the same area.
Is an eye for an eye really the best policy? That doesn't make people stop and say "It's fair now." Because of human nature, one will always try to have more power. Of course, this does not justify everything the U.S. has done prior to 9/11. The problems we face are not worth the lives of people.
Kashmir, I'm not seeking to anger you, but America does not purely represent all those negative aspects. In fact, that's not what America represents, that's a horrible misconception many make. Those represent the politcians with their own agendas. You can't say every person in America has those qualities. You must also remember what other qualities America stands for, but more importantly, what other people stand for: freedom, courage, honor, the will to protect others, etc. Of course, that is quite unrealistic, but I believe I made my point clear that we aren't pure evil.
Imagine this, you're in the biggest building on earth, doing your everyday job. You look outside the window and see a plane heading straight towards the building. You hear and feel the crash. Chaos is everywhere and you can't find your way down. You look around and see others jumping out the window and see people praying to God. The floor falls and everything goes black. You died, but don't complain. America had it coming. Does that sound fair in any way? Should you have to pay for somebody else's actions?
What occured on 9/11 was a tragedy, and nothing prior to that changes it.
All hail chronos! master of time!

Why are you trying to change everyone into Agnostics? You're supposed to be a neutral party. I'm not exactly an Atheist: I'm a rationalist. It fits met better, I'm willing to consider a claim when there's evidence. And Cheeze, how do you deny someone's personal belief? There's a difference between "I like eggs" and "Eggs are the best thing in the world for you!"

but eggs are the best thing for you....
I think abortion should stay legal. . Sometimes money can be the deciding issue, and don't say that the woman should have the baby and adopt it if money's an issue, because it costs a lot of money to go through labor (hospital bills). You always hear about how teenage pregnancy is such a big issue these days. Solution: Abortion.

Emotions are for everything, give that a thought and you'll most likely agree. And I don't mean emotions as in soft-gushee, whatever some of you mocho men may think, but emotions even in excitement, enthusiasm, anger, ect. If you can't think of any more emotions, please get off the computer and go outside for a little while.

why is an azn telling us about emotions? we all no they arent born with any
emo powers ON!
ok emotions give us a degree if randomness, no we can all tel ourselves that we are unique!

I got the winner/loser tournament bracket idea from Clay Fighter: Special Edition (or something like that). Old game from the late 90s. Who here is old enough to remember Clay Fighter? I always played as Blue Suede Goo.
On the N64? I loved that game. I was always the Goo too.

Mr. Frosty ftw! Anyway; if we're to have 3v3, there needs to be a higher demand of those who want to participate.
Not questioning something because its a "tragedy" is the wrong idea. I never stated what the terrorists did was right, but we did have it coming. Saying otherwise is just ignorance. If I bombed your house, killed your sisters/brothers... what would you do? Your just a person, you can't do anything. The only way to send a message is to send their message right back at them. Thats what they did. We bomb them from the air, and they attack us from the air. Difference is, we cry and make a big deal all over the world about it. They can't.
Bush told us not to ever again discuss conspiracy theories about 9/11.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=6K5M0xtxQVQ&search=UN%20bushHitler did the same, telling them "terrorists" (yes he even used the word terrorist) burned the reichstag and to never again question it. Turns out he did it to ignite war and rise to power. Always remember kids... Hitler was democratically elected.

Oops, you aren't the only one making mistakes, I saw my name on the list on the front page, and saw the message, so I gave back your mins before reading this thread. Well, two wrongs make a right. You can keep them.
Im gona have to drop out. The motherboard on my laptop if completely fried so im forced to go over my friends house to use his comp....If I can stay at his house for the tournament then ill drop you a msg a few days in advance otherwise dont expect me to show up.
Know how I said that no one forgot about it we just knd of put it behind us (ourselves) Well I have a correction, I think that President Bush has forgoten, probably around the time that he went on the Air Ship and pledged victory and that the war in Iraq is over. Well we never called it a war before, and this was like a long long time ago and we still have men over their, I think he forgot about them too. I think he's lucky to still be in office.
Yes, if somebody did in fact bomb MY house or killed MY family, I would do something. However, there's a difference. America is general. It's a collection of people. Something direct on me is personal. However, if somebody bombed my house, should somebody else bomb them? I wouldn't think so. I'm not sure if I'm conveying my point clearly. What happened on 9/11 was a broad attack. I don't believe anybody should have been killed in the first place, but if anybody were to be killed, it should have been the people responsible.
The people resonspible are the people who speak for you to the world. The ones who order the bombings that cause hatred, that kill. The fault lies on both sides of the line. The "terrorists" and the "freedom fighters."

I'm an Atheist so no, I don't believe in God or any kind of god out there. I just don't see how people will go and look at the world and think that it was created by a god.
If God is real then how was he created if humans didn't even exist then. Someone who believes in God please explain to me what makes you believe in this?

Yes, I have seen people actually take a moment of silence before. Not all the time but I have seen people take one minute out of their entire day to take a moment of respect for everything that has happened in the United States.
United States is suppose to be very secure, but how did 9/11 happen so easily without no-one knowing anything?
I myself think 9/11 was set up by the government. If the government wants us to think it was a terroist act then why wont they release a tape of the plane crashing into the Pentagon. Although they have released 5 frames of a video tape taping the incident, it doen't reveal anything of a plance crashing at all.
Yes I I have seen people taking moments of silence too. but it was the one year after when everyone in the US did it. Like president Bush came on tv and they were silent for one minute. But that about it
