I've found a slight problem with bullet time, now that I reread it. Giving all the units in one area to another player would work, but if another player enters the scene then what? "Look Trinity, I'm killing enemies and nobody is going after you!"

All the units do freeze. Yes, it works as a plus to the other players, but the only other way I can think of is too complex, and the more triggers, strings and whichever I use, the less I can use later, and it will be more buggy. In the end, theres no technique simple enough to do this any other way.
Will some vehicles be locked? Maybe some have an item that could be stolen inside them? Also if you steal a vehicle in motion will you go in and the previous operator be thrown out into the street?
As I said, only certain vechs you can take control of. They will be marked somehow (gotta figure out how xD)

Steal the Vehicles from P12. There's your different color.

Its something to do with the Player _ i believe, someone from an old website did some Hex working and said you could set it to other players, however i've normally just had an area off the map with Player 19 stored and move them across.
Any players above 12 are impossible to use these triggers with.

2. It shows how to shlow units down in the map making help archive, but there is no slow down units topic.
3. This map isn't going to be just one map is it? Or are you going to use the action to switch to a different senario after you beat the first one?

Yoshi, you wouldn't run outta string limit before finish this map? because with all stuff your putting in sounds like going be alot of stuffed used (hope map dong lag). So far map looks awesome, nice terrain, nice ideas can't wait till it's done.

Those are all that i can think of at the moment that make strings, and you can just make maps with limited amounts of any of these, because other the the minimum of the last three you can just about get away with it, though it wouldn't be very good. So you can have thousands of triggers with nothing in the form of String usage.
Clokr_ was right, units above Player 12 are not effected by Triggers, though i've tried only a few, maybe i'll see if they get affected by the move function.
I'm being incredibly conservative with strings. I've only used 180 so far.
180 strings, well your doing pretty good then. Even if you max out string's way to increase it i heard using guedit.
Better yet, Clokr_ has a string recycler coming into Proedit. Its going to be priceless.

By the way, is this map actually based on one of the movies themselves (most likely the first one), or is it just something customized that has a similar theme?
Both. Its going to have everything in the movies, but while you go around the city, you can do other things (join a gang, rob the rank etc) all of which may change the outcome of the game.
